I paused for a moment, on the last hill on our road. I was getting ready to hike up the trailhead into the Mountains, when Marshall stopped his car alongside Silvertop……………
Marshall still has reasonable good health…….
He’s 81 years old, and he loves to debate EVERYTHING with Silvertop Lol!🤣

Marshall is starting to realize that he is becoming forgetful, I think it bothers him a lot!🙄
My Grandfather had Alzheimer’s, so I understand his frustration…………

I started explaining to Marshall, how years ago I injured my back. Hiking isn’t a hobby for me, it’s how I keep in shape, and keep my back strong!
It’s one of the reasons I split and stack firewood as well, although there is nothing like a nice warm fire!☺️
Just ask my furry child Cot Lol!😻
Most days, whether it’s sunny, foggy, or rainy, you will find me hiking in the mountains, racking up miles!😅

I explained to him,how the buying power of the U.S. dollar is being devalued away……

That’s when he drifted to another topic………..
It was time to smile in all the right places………..
Marshall is successful and happy, and at 81 years old he doesn’t want, or need, to embrace this new technology… that’s OK!😇

Worked up a sweat seeing all that stacked wood.
But not as devalued as the Canadian Canuck buck. That's why gold is still at ATHs in CAD and glad to have a substantial stack in. Trudeau has got to go!
I heard rumors on ex/Twitter that he was stepping down..... any truth to that?😀
Poor Marshall—it sounds like he's really grappling with his memory. It can be incredibly frustrating to feel like things are slipping away.
It's a good reminder to show kindness and patience in those moments of forgetfulness, @silvertop!

I have learned to “gently” turn the conversation when he gets “stuck” forgetting something that we both know very well……..
We both have known the owner of the off grid cabin for many years “Tim”, and yesterday Marshall asked who the new neighbor was ………..
It very difficult to remember and then suddenly forget bits and pieces of your memories……….

Things went up and then down again... But today it looks like up again. Crypto is fun! Hiking is a great way to stay in shape, and you live in a great place to do it. Beautiful pictures yet again!
