“Is that a wrap?” 😳
“Dad I’ve never seen anything like this!”🙄
Today as I climbed to the top of the ridge, my youngest son was texting me…………
“No power, no internet at home Dad, trees are down everywhere!”😬
Last night they were calling for a “cyclone bomb” to hit Seattle! 😮
Have you noticed all the new weather terminology lately?
Atmospheric river = lots of rain!😅
heat dome = better turn on the air-conditioning, it’s going to be hot! 😇
Cyclone bomb = nail everything down that you don’t want in your neighbor’s yard tomorrow Lol!😳
We were prepared last night for whatever the weather tossed at us………
Solar electric with backup deep cycle batteries………
Two generators, (3) thirty pound and (1) twenty pound propane tanks to run the large generator, and over ten gallons of gasoline for the smaller generator!😇
Liz and I figured we better post online as soon as possible, we might loose the internet!
Everything was dead calm……….
“Bill, we actually have a little Sunshine today, and the snow line is still only halfway down the Mountain side! The storm missed us up here!”😊
Our son said he expects to be without power for several days!🙄
I’m glad he and his Wife Agi are safe!😍
He works for the city, and he will be very busy for quite some time………
The electricity will eventually be restored…..
Times like this remind you what is really important…….. Family!❤️
