A fresh morning unfolded like a quiet symphony, thick cumulus clouds drifting lazily, sunbeams slipping through gaps like golden ribbons. The ground still glistened from yesterday’s rain, and the air? Crisp and clean, like linen hung out in the wind. I heard birds fussing in the trees, their songs stitching together the silence. There was more lilac in the air than usual, sweet and heady, as if the world had put on perfume. Down by the water, I paused, breathing in, breathing out, anchored by the rhythm of the waves and a breeze that carried just enough chill to keep me still. I didn’t rush. And today, I brought you a little bouquet of pink tulips, blooming wildly along the riverside trails, like whispers of spring pushing through the gray.

Ein frischer Morgen entfaltete sich wie eine leise Sinfonie, dicke Quellwolken zogen träge dahin, Sonnenstrahlen glitten wie goldene Bänder durch die Lücken. Der Boden glänzte noch vom gestrigen Regen, und die Luft? Klar und rein wie frisch gewaschene Wäsche im Wind. Aus den Bäumen schallte das muntere Zwitschern der Vögel, das die Stille zusammenwob. Überall lag heute mehr Fliederduft in der Luft, süß und schwer, als hätte die Welt Parfüm aufgelegt. Unten am Wasser hielt ich inne, atmete ein, atmete aus, getragen vom Rhythmus der Wellen und einem Wind, der kühl genug war, um mich zur Ruhe zu bringen. Ich hetzte nicht. Und heute habe ich euch einen kleinen Strauß pinker Tulpen mitgebracht, die derzeit überall an den Uferwegen blühen, wie flüsternde Frühlingsboten im Grau.
