Another damp, drizzly morning, the mist hanging low over the Palace Gardens. The stillness was almost tangible, a quiet calm that wrapped around me like a soft, worn-in sweater. I took it in, letting the distant birdsong weave itself into the rhythm of my breath. On the Luiseninsel, my usual routine—deep, steady inhales, slow, deliberate exhales—no rush, no reason to resist the chill. The sun stayed hidden, the air barely nudged past ten degrees, and yet, there was something oddly reassuring in the repetition. Just another Thursday, another stretch of the ordinary—unremarkable, yet unmistakably mine.

Wieder ein feuchter, nebliger Morgen, der Dunst hing tief über dem Schlossgarten. Die Stille war fast greifbar, eine ruhige Gelassenheit, die mich wie ein weicher, eingetragener Pullover umhüllte. Ich nahm sie auf, ließ das ferne Vogelgezwitscher mit meinem Atem verschmelzen. Auf der Luiseninsel meine übliche Routine – tiefe, gleichmäßige Atemzüge, langsames, bewusstes Ausatmen – kein Eilen, kein Widerstand gegen die Kälte. Die Sonne blieb verborgen, die Luft später auch wieder kaum über zehn Grad, und doch lag in der Wiederholung eine seltsame Verlässlichkeit. Einfach ein weiterer Donnerstag, ein weiterer Moment des Alltags – unspektakulär, aber unverkennbar meiner.
