There’s something hauntingly peaceful about a foggy morning, the kind that wraps the world in whispers and wetness. My cough still clung stubbornly, but I couldn’t resist a brief walk through the palace gardens. The Luisen Island route was just the right length. The damp air felt oddly refreshing, perfect for a few deep-breathing exercises by the carp pond. With the holiday, school break, and the dreary weather keeping most people indoors, the silence was almost sacred. I wandered to the hollow tree I call "Dreamcatcher’s Nest". It’s more than a hollow tree now, it’s a shrine of sorts, where someone keeps adding their quiet art. Today, I found a tiny LED light and a small figurine nestled inside underneath the various dreamcatchers, as if the tree itself were curating its secrets. I took my time photographing it, capturing the whole hollow and its intricate details. This little ritual of discovery is an integral part of the Luisen Island route and transforms an ordinary morning walk into a small, surprising adventure.
