The morning started slow and soggy, with rain tapping against the windows like a restless metronome. Still nursing a mild cold, I leaned into the quiet power of sleep, the ultimate superpower for healing. After a long, restful night, I decided to brave the gray skies for a quick morning walk, knowing fresh air could nudge my circulation awake. The drizzle threatened, but I made it back just in time before the downpour. Along the way, I stopped at one of my favorite spots, a quiet corner where I can pause, breathe, and let the world’s weight lighten. From my go-to bridge, I caught sight of the only strip of blue sky breaking through the heavy clouds. It was a fleeting moment, but it reminded me that behind even the grayest mornings the sun always shines and the sky is always blue.
