Stretch and Recovery - My Actifit Report Card: February 22 2025
I had a rough night of sleep again as I continue feeling sick with a cough. I felt it more when we headed to the gym for a Yoga class as I was struggling to keep most poses. The stretches were good but the strengh moves were not fun as my body feels weak given my inability to really recover. It sucks as this is my last week of the program and instead of finishing strong, I think I will barely make it.
I took the afternoon to shop with the family which got me some good activity for the day. I found myself having to rest more than usual but I was ok with that. We also had a great meal before heading back home where we played some board games while listening to some music. It was fun to get my mind past the frustration of not feeling well. Another day with hopefully help.

I also struggled with a cold last week, barely getting over the line to our Presidents' Day + mid-winter break at school. Hopefully, you wre able to get back to full strength soon.
While it didn't affect my ability to workout, I spent the majority of my week-long vacation rolling around in bed rather than engaging in any meaningful activity. To compound my issues, I got off track with my diet, eating well under my daily calories on Monday and Tuesday, but then falling into the trap of binge snacking on Thursday and Friday. Honestly, the routine of going back to school Monday thru Friday will actually be a boon for my actifit reporting and food tracking.
Inconsistency sucks especially when it is due to uncontrollable circumstances!
