Early Sledding - My Actifit Report Card: November 12 2024
I found myself up well before dawn and having my coffee while on the way to the gym. I felt surprisingly energized despite the time. I walked on the treadmill as I waited for the class to start and saw the previous class doing some different things. That got me interested in the class even more as I continue to react well with different approaches to my training and I think it is benefiting both mind and body. The class started and I learned that these treadmills have the ability to assimilate pushing a sled!
It was a bit intense but I think I went too easy to start so slowly ramped up the weight being pushed. I was able to complete the session on the treadmill fairly well and with enough energy to get my floor routines done solidly as well. I was out of the gym well ahead of my first meeting with some good energy and motivation for the rest of the day. I continue to get things done in advance to make way for some expected busy periods coming up once again. I forgot to get my core training in early so I did find some time to get them done at home on my mat before it was too late.
