Cooled Down - My Actifit Report Card: August 19 2023
I had an early breakfast today with some friends so my normal early weekend workout was not possible today. When I got back home, the weather looked not so good outside so I waited for a bit and decided to work a bit on some items I needed to get done for some endeavors I continue to look at. As the afternoon approached, the Summer rain came and cooled the day down which made me think that an outdoor walk would be a good idea.
I was able to convince my better half to go with me although she was concerned with getting wet. We looked at the forecast and it said we had about an hour and a half before the next rainfall so we headed out. It was pretty good outside given the rain had finally cooled down the environment. Unfortunately, the forecast was off by 15 minutes as it rained after we had not short cut to take so got wet for the last bit. It was not that bad given that it felt pretty cool given the recent heat.
