My Actifit Report Card: October 24 2024 - A wasteful day.

Have you ever plan your day activities but ends up not achieving something meaningful? As humans we are, it must have happened to you or maybe, to someone you may know.

Am here to narrate my own personal experience to you dear friends. It happened to me today and to be sincere, am writing this post with heavy heart since it will serve as reminder in the future and more to that, writing and posting here in Blockchain gives me added joy though, most times, one thing or the other do hinder me from posting especially procrastination.

Anyway, my people, my experience today is nothing good to write home about honestly.

it happened that early in the morning, I arranged and scheduled my movement so as to achieve so many things before the day runs out.

One of the most important thing I planned doing today is to register about 3 businesses as a local guide in spendhbd community.

As I prepared to leave the house with my spendhbd tshirt, unknowingly for me, my motorcycle had a different plan for me too which is to scatter my plans.

As I brought it out, and drove out, on my way, it developed a strange sound. Therefore, with my phone, I passed the message to my mechanic and he instructed me to bring the machine to his workshop located at jubilee road Aba. As I stopped the motorcycle to make the call, do you know that it didn't start again despite all that I did. With such development, I pushed the machine from the spot to jubilee road which is good 3 miles away.

Honestly, it wasn't easy for me. Before I could reach his workshop, I was already sweating profusely like pure Christmas goat. The most annoying part of it is that the queue was even much because he's the only guy people trust when it comes to honda motorcycle repairing.

While waiting for my turn, my neighbor called me, requesting that I withdraw 100k he saved in my account for him because he needs it urgently.

So, while waiting for my turn at the mechanic, I decided to utilize such expensive time by visiting my bank so as to withdraw the money since POS people insisted on collecting 2k fee from me before giving me 100k.

Reaching the bank, I filled out withdrawal slip. Do you know that as soon as it's my turn, this is what one of the customer care representatives announced:

Please dear esteemed customers, exercise patience because we are out of service now.

I waited for more than an hour to no avail. Therefore, I went back to the mechanic workshop to monitor his work. On the way, it started raining heavily. I waited for more than 2 hours before the rain subsided.

At that point, it was already 3pm and our local banks here closes by 4:00pm. Though, they could reach 5 or 6pm attending to customers. But, once it's 4pm, security won't allow you to enter inside the bank again. Ahh, what should I do? should I go back to the bank immediately or should I proceed to his workshop?

No doubt, there is need for me to go back to the bank before they will close. reaching there, lo and behold, they've resumed work. So I joined the queue again. As it's my turn again around 5pm, service disappeared again. I waited till 6pm but to no avail. Therefore, I went back to the workshop for the unfinished business.

Ahh, the mechanic told me that he can't continue again today with my own work because it's not something he will rush. He only worked on the machine to make sure it will start. He then asked me to bring it back tomorrow for proper repairing.

At that, I only went back to the bank to withdraw from ATM since I wasn't opportune to withdraw directly from bank. You may be wondering why I wanted to withdraw directly from bank since there is ATM. The Answer is that ATM daily minimum withdrawal is 40k and I wanted to withdraw 100k.

Hmm, as I placed my card, it didn't pay. I thought it's a joke. I tried other ATMs only to find out there is no cash in the machine. The security guys told me to exercise patience.

At the end, I was able to withdraw only but 40k which I gave them and promised to bring the remaining one tomorrow.

At a point, I felt like withdrawing from pos but if I should do, am the one to lose because they'll not refund me.

I reached my house by 7:30pm and decided to drop today's activities before retiring to bed because am feeling so tired right now.
