My Actifit Report Card: May 13 2024
It was a bit cloudy and cooler this morning. I played a short practice round of disc golf around noon. I had a lot of birdie opportunities but missed some throws and ended up with an even score for the nine hole course.
It would have helped to take a bigger selection of discs, but I'm usually just playing for fun and not worried about my score when I play this course. I played with five discs, and they got a bit wet from the grass, and I didn't have anything to wipe them off with. If you're worried about your score, keeping your discs dry and using a chalk grip bag really helps.
I did manage to throw a putter disc off the tee since I didn't bring along any midrange disc. It flew very nicely for a disc that is a bit understable. I find that it helps a lot to be very smooth with your throw when trying to throw a putter disc hard. Your grip really makes a lot of difference, too. A back loaded grip is very helpful.
I might try to practice with putter discs some more because there is less side to side movement with them. I tend to throw midrange discs more if I am going for any distance because I know they are stable enough that I usually won't have a problem unless I throw it really badly.
A family of geese:
There were a lot of these little groups of birds near the lake by the disc golf course that I played at on my recent trip.

Looking at your photography, it is clear that the sky was a little cloudy, otherwise there is still a hint of blue color in the sky, and the photographs of the ducks are very beautiful, it looks very good with the family inside the same frame.
