My Actifit Report Card: April 3 2024
The three of us played disc golf out on a kind of difficult eighteen-hole course today. It was a bit cold and rainy. At times, the wind would blow just a bit, but it was not much of an issue.
I ended up winning the round with a +2 score. Both of my friends scored a +12. I think I could have gone under par today, but the wet conditions were causing a few grip issues. I'm not complaining, though. It was a really good round for me under the conditions.
I was trying a slightly different grip that worked well for my approach throws. It made it a lot easier to control the nose angle and get the disc flying how I wanted using mid range discs. It seemed to be causing a few problems with my distance drives, though. I will need to experiment more in dry conditions to see how things work out.

I'm not sure what it is. Google image search seems to think it is edible, but I'm not sure about trying it.

Hey @lightsplasher! I ran you pic through plantsnap and it came up with Arctic Sweet Coltsfoot (petasites frigidus). I then searched and found this. It doesn't say anything about it being edible.
Anyway, based on the description, it sounds and looks like the plant you took a pic of.

Reading from your link it does say that it is a herb used in a variety of things for flavor and medicinal value. Nice to know, but I would make certain of the identification before eating much. Thanks for the link.

I think this plant can be used as a wound medicine. The leaves of this plant can heal wounds.
That could be right. I would need to make a better identification of it before I tried to use it, though.
I often use these leaves to heal wounds here and there.

The weather in your area is almost the same as the weather in my area, sometimes it is not a problem, but there is something a little different if you play in normal weather, I like the scenery today, many beautiful flowers there.
