My Actifit Report Card: December 20 2024 - XR Glasses, I'm Not There Yet

YouTube recommended that I watch a new video from Julia McCoy about Google's Android XR Glasses. Julia has 65K subscribers on her channel about the AI and High Tech revolution we're entering now. This video is 5 hours old and has almost 5K views already.

Julia talks about a coming product from Google that lets those wearing it experience Xtended Reality. The product is a headset or glasses but apparently no one mnows much about it because no pics or videos have been released. Julia shows a Google video where a person is ordering a drink or something from a vendor who speaks a different languages . This product automatically translates what each person is saying. Don't we already have an app for that?

Then in another video a woman is putting up shevles and the product speaks some advice to her. Again we can do that now on our phones.

The last few minutes of this 14 minute video is a commercial for Julia's company.

I'm not that interested in this product yet. I don't think headsets and glasses are adding much to what we already have. But I have an open mind and I'll check in a year and see if I'm interested in getting such a product then.

Fridays are #PEPE Power Up Days. I think PEPE is a well known meme and even though the PEPE we have here on hive-engine is not the well known one on Ethereum, it is still based on the same popular frog so it's easy to get people to understand what its all about.

today was household chores, random daily activity and my daily nightly walk. It's cold out again so I rocked the ski jacket. Nothing better for keeping warm!
