My Actifit Report Card: July 30 2024 - Looking For Action

The YouTube algorithm saw me watching that Beatles video yesterday so today it gave me the cool 60s song. It's called Action Woman and it is by The Litter. Apparently they were a band from Minnesota and they recorded this single in 1967. That is all I know about them.

The song has some loud guitar parts but also quiet parts as well. The guy seems intent on making his woman jealous by finding another who can be an Action Woman. Not sure what's happening but maybe his girl isn't ready for the kind of physical action this dude wants to get from her. Come on man, respect the ladies out there!

Yeah, that might not end well. Communication is super important in relationships. Talk it out. See what she wants. Tell her what you want. Try to meet in the middle.

Anyway, the video is a series of clips of 60s women I guess. Maybe 70s too? Maybe from movies or commercials, not really sure. Groovy days. These people are probably in their 70s now. I hope they're all doing well.

My Activity

today was pretty poor. I stayed up all night to take a relative to a very early medical appointment. Then I slept in the daytime. By the time I got up, the thunderstorms were here. So no walk today. I did some squats and some other calisthenics. Hopefully I'll get decent weather tomorrow.

    Communication is definitely key in any relationship, as you pointed out. It's interesting how YouTube's algorithm brings such hidden gems to light. Hope you get better weather tomorrow for your walk!
