My Actifit Report Card: January 26 2022 - HEX And HIVE
Were you here when Hive was forked from Steem? Do you remember that you got one Hive token for each Steem token you owned? Same with getting HBD based on your SBD. This happened because the state of the Steem blockchain was copied. So not only was the code that runs the blockchain, but also the data stored on the blockchain was copied to Hive in the fork.
No one knew if these free Hive tokens we were getting would be worth anything. But it seemed that Hive would have a good sized and enthusiastic community. How did this all work out, looking back 2 years later? I'll leave it up to you to decide.
If you had a "do over" where you could roll back time, would you do anything differently? Maybe bought some Steem before the fork knowing it would soon become an equal amount of both Steem And Hive?
Suppose there was an Ethereum fork coming up with the same properties of the Steem fork? Not just blockchain code but also the data of all account balances being copied. What would you do? Would you at least do your own research?

If I could turn back the hands of time, I will just wait and buy hive at 7 cents.
Is there an airdrop coming up for ethereum?
Every ETH you may own, plus every ERC-20 token you may own, is being airdropped for free when Pulsechain full state forks the Ethereum blockchain. Full state fork meaning not only is the blockchain code copied and improved to run 4 times faster and with very low gas fees and no inflation of the PLS token (which is like ETH) but in fact PLS is burned with each transaction, but also with all data of all token balances copied. If nothing else, it will be interesting!
2 years ago today, Steem was 16 cents. Buying at that price and getting a Steem and a Hive for 16 cents is like getting Steem and Hive for 8 cents. Pretty close to the 7 cents you mentioned.
Steem was once 7 cents. I don't see Hive below 9.5 cents on the chart here, but I may have missed it:

I was never a fan of etherium and I really don't want to get on board now. However, you're right this has great potential.
I am also not a big Ethereum fan especially with the current gas fees.
HEX is interesting because it incentivizes locking up tokens by paying a higher interest rate in Hex for the longer you lock it up, much like a bank CD. It has been around just over 2 years. It is on Ethereum and the high gas fees there are one thing that inspired the same team to fork Pulsechain. People holding HEX will get an equal number of Pulsechain HEX.
HEX did well in the last 2 years. No one knows what it will do tomorrow. No one knows what the pHEX version will do. Just interesting to see how this new fork goes, having lived through the Steem to Hive fork.

I'm not advocating for anything or advising anything. Just noticing that the Ethereum to Pulse full state fork is the same kind of fork we had when Steem forked to Hive. So to me, it is interesting to watch.

My hive account was copied from steemit but unfortunately I had only 100+ steem power at that time and its still not growing to 200 LOL. Whatever, hope you don't mind me asking a question! Is this YT video host you? Thank you!
