No Snow……….My Actifit Report Card: February 2 2025

Nope-we got maybe an inch to an inch and a half of snow-maybe. Interestingly enough, it left our road and the next one, in icy disarray. This is typical unfortunately, as the county road crews ignore us mostly. 🙄

Heading to church this morning was a bit like ice skating, but Zuki ( my Suzuki SX 4 Crossover) is ready with studded tires and 4WD if necessary.

Church was awesome as usual. It’s so nice to attend where the Spirit is on fire!

Once home, I roasted 2 pounds of decaf coffee for myself and 2 regular for @silvertop. The decaf is a brand new bag and I’ll have to say I’m pretty impressed with it. It roasts dark and rich and upon completion of the roasting cycle, is the oiliest decaf I’ve ever seen! It smells dark and chocolatey and delicious! I’ve not tried any yet but will soon as I run out of the old batch. ☕️

It was cold and dreary with the skies attempting to spit some form of frozen precipitation out. I opted to stay home while @silvertop braved the cold for a hike. I rode the bike instead.

I went looking for some pics of Cot. Here’s a couple that I found.

Here’s a Hoof Fungus from yesterday with a crown of snow.

I found a few archived Turkey Tail pics. I have to say that they do seriously intrigue me. Unfortunately their underbellies aren’t near as interesting as other varieties are, but their tops are very, very nice!

Then, every once in a while, you find something slimy!

It sort of reminds of something I can’t quite put my finger on, but it’s kind of gross at the same time. 😣
