Relax…….It’s Friday! 😎…………My Actifit Report Card: August 23 2024

This is Cot’s idea of the purr-fect 😽 Friday! Then again, he spends most days like this, lol!

I was certainly glad to see Friday roll in. I guess because of the way my workweek was split with a full week of work-sort of, and having a day and a half off in the middle of it instead of my usual; well it didn’t seem like I worked as much as I really did. Donna told the doc today that she’s leaving. I could tell by his response to her that he wasn’t happy with her. It is a shame really but I did let him know that no matter who he hires, I will not spend any time delving deeper into the operations of the clinic with anyone until they hit the six month mark at least; maybe even longer. I don’t want to waste time I don’t really have in training someone who will quit. I did not see this coming, but as I said last night, I do get it. Paying over $700 a month for health insurance would put a strain on anyone’s budget! I can’t really blame her, especially if they’re covering it 100%!

It was grey and rainy here today; sort of matched my mood. With this and everything else that’s going on, it’s real easy to get sucked into the depression vortex.

On another note-Phoenix is coming tomorrow! She’s such a cutie and seriously loves me! When I come home from work, you’d think I’ve been gone forever! She’ll practically tackle me and hold me down to give wet doggie kisses until I promise not to leave again! I’m looking forward to her visit! 🐶
