It's Raining-AGAIN!............My Actifit Report Card: April 23 2023
It’s raining-again!
I found out last that Abby was going to be there after all to run sound at church. It’s nice to let go of the reigns and let someone else be responsible! She does a good job!
After church, we went home so I could make @silvertop a coffee. Then we headed to Harbor Freight. If you need a tool-they pretty much will have it. Some things aren’t super good quality and some things are. We were after two tires for my garden cart as two of the original ones had bitten the dust. $5.99 each was very affordable! See @silvertop’s post for the adventure!
Since I only had a couple of photos for yesterday’s Caturday post, I thought I’d turn today’s into a Kitty Sunday!😻
You’ve got to understand that Cyle generally won’t let you pick him up this way. However, @silvertop found him in an amicable mood for such shenanigans!
Cot on the other hand, just eats it up!
I found Cot being lazy in bed. Notice light’s on but he’s not home?
It rained most of the day, especially the part where we were home, so the hiking consisted of pacing.
Here’s more eye candy from yesterday.
That’s gonna be it for now. IF the weather cooperates tomorrow, then maybe I’ll get some outdoor gardening done! One can hope!

But......doesn't that just make it more humid? I am dreading full blown summer; if we have another drought and temperatures like last year, I may have to hibernate! And then there's the smoke......

I was wondering when someone would mention the hedge hog! I just can't resist adding things to old tree stump photos. We have a lot of tree stumps in our forests.
My husband posed for those pics with the boys; Cyle, the first picture, does not tolerate that type of cuddling, but for whatever reason, he did yesterday. Cot on the other hand, loves it!

Perhaps weather was just right for a cuddle Cyle looks to be enjoying himself.
We had hedge hogs when young living under a hedge we would see them once or twice a year, very shy. The added extra gives a some humour to the old tree trunk out there.

You are welcome! My daughter in law is from Hungary and she so much wants a hedge hog for a pet. They don't run wild here and cost around $350 each! I understand their life expectancy is about 3 years.

Having two may be an option that they have company, keeping one is lonely for the animal.
They are amazing, ours lived in a very thick hedge as a family for years, new neighbours had dogs that chased them we only had them stay for a couple of seasons before the arrival of dogs in town.
