What's the story about? Is it worth reading? It does make for an interesting conversation 'bench', if you will. Looks like it might be comfortable as well.

There's more than one bench like this one, in a bigger city about 3 hours away from me. Not much of a story just an eccentric mayor that wants to stand out. :)) The poem written on this one sounds something like this in English:

Time goes by, time comes along,
All things are old, all things are new;
What’s sorrowful and what’s joyful
Are but the same, as time’s untrue.

The world is but a fleeting dream,
A play of shadows, light, and hue;
What’s real and what’s illusion
Are but the same, as time’s untrue.

The stars above, the earth below,
The endless skies, the seas so blue;
What’s high and what’s beneath us
