That kitty is a bit dumb, no joke, even the family agrees. :)) She has known me since she was a baby, she even allows me to pet her every time but that while hissing at me.

Perhaps she can't help herself, lol! She might be feeling threatened because you're not of her household, but everyone is gone and she wants some attention, so she spits and hisses while also enjoying the affection. I'm sure there's a word for that, lol!
