Owls Galore! : My Actifit Report Card: March 29 2025

It has been another lovely sunny day. So we decided to go and visit a nice wildlife centre. The British Wildlife Centre here in the south of England.

On a side note: There was a partial solar eclipse today, but I didn't have the essential dark filter to look at the sun. 🫤

But back to the animals! I think we were unlucky, as most of the animals were either in their burrows or looking very sleepy! 🤣 As you can see in this picture of a fox.

I took a photo selection of some of the owls. These are not too bad.

The red squirrels were nowhere to be seen or the weasels. So we headed for the wetland section. A boarded walkway over the lake and reed beds. This was very nice in the sunshine.

That was fun, but we didn't see very much wildlife! 🤣 Just the occasional duck or fish lurking in the gloomy water.

Later, we did see a little mink dosing in the sun. And some frogs, too.

Well worth a visit on a lovely sunny spring day like today.
