Arsenal Come Away From The Bridge Victors
City managed to secure 3 points yesterday pushing them to the top of the table despite having to play most of the game with 10 men and are clearly not going to give up on the title that easy, that put some real pressure on Arsenal to secure all three points against Chelsea.
It was a tough battle but Arsenal returned to the top of the Premier League table as Gabriel's close-range finish gave them victory away to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and managed to keep a clean sheet in the process.
The game didn't have very many clear cut chances apart from a header Jesus should have put away other than that, Gabriel was the only one with a chance that couldn't be missed and managed to steer the ball over the line in the 63rd minute after the hosts failed to deal with Bukayo Sako's corner from the right wing, to give the Gunners a deserved lead.
They had created the best chances when it was goalless but Gabriel Martinelli curled a shot over the crossbar and Gabriel Jesus failed to hit the target with a diving header when unmarked.
Chelsea, with ex-Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leading the line, could not break down the excellent Gabriel and Saliba who I think should win man of the match. While he was boo'd during the game, he didn't have much of an impact against his former side, struggled to create clear-cut chances and are now without a win in four Premier League matches. Auba was later subbed to many fans delight and replaced with Broja.
Arsenal are now back on top, and the pressure is back on city to close the gap, it would really have been great if Fulam could have held out and that would have given us a 4 point gap instead of 2 and the inevitable 6 pointer wouldn't be such a dreaded prospect.

Great post!
Totally agree that Arsenal played great today, and won well deserves.
This season smells like top four 🥳
It definitely gave me a lot of hope, having a captain like Odegaard showing he can lead us to wins against tough teams is something we've been lacking for some time
