Spring Gardens in Newcastle : August 20 2022

Was going to be a slow day starting to think about clearing out the house for moving out. There is stuff that has been in boxes for 14 years. 22 years is the longest I have been attached to one place. Heart and brain are not aligned. Did get two boxes cleared and sorted - keep, recycle, trash.

Agent came around as the contracts did not exchange on Friday. No open house as I have got the contract. But the agent had not pulled it - nobody turned up as it happens.

We went into Newcastle to visit a friend who has just lost his job. We shared some fine wines sitting outside on a fab afternoon. Friesias tell me it is spring

A few two tone daisies to go with the sun

Was a really important chat. Friends hold together

A bit late home to cook dinner - made stir fried rice. Got the steps in but without walking anywhere

We did in a few ways. He works in wine industry. He can write about wine. His wife teaches English - she has a few students who could do well writing on Hive. Just add photos, I said.
