5K Steps to What Matters

No smashing goals or crushing PRs happened today.
Today was about picking up our youngest from his student job and somehow clocking 5,000 steps just… vibing.

We wandered through the city, the cobblestones guiding us to an impromptu drink in the sun, the kind of sun that makes you forget emails exist and makes your drink taste better. The sky? A dramatic masterpiece of moody clouds and golden light, I half expected a movie soundtrack to start playing.

Dinner was a whole other level. We went full grill-mode at a steakhouse where everything tasted like it had been blessed by the gods of fire and flavor. Zero regrets. Maybe a few extra calories. Worth every bite.

Was it the most active day? Not even close.
Was it one of the best? 100%.
Because sometimes walking with your people, soaking in the city, and eating good food is the healthiest thing you can do.
