Reset by the Waves

What a week. You know those weeks where the hours blur together, and your to-do list feels like it’s multiplying? Yeah, that was mine. But after a chaotic period, we decided to escape—to the sea.

The drive was longer than expected, and by the time we arrived, the world was pitch black. But there’s something magical about darkness near the ocean. My youngest and I couldn’t resist heading out for a walk.

The lights from the distant buildings reflected off the wet sand, creating this dreamlike scene. The waves, barely visible, whispered against the shore. And for the first time in days, I felt my shoulders relax.

It wasn’t a long walk, but it didn’t need to be. Just a little reminder that sometimes, peace finds you in the simplest moments—a quiet stroll, the sound of the sea, and a kid’s joy in the cool night air. Here’s to blowing away the stress, one wave at a time.
