Hello Actifitters! Happy Sunday. Cover photo is just that, a cover photo. It's not a beach weather today here in the desert. It's been chilly and windy over the weekend. Actually it's had been chilly since mid week last week with rains here and there.
Today was a rather laid back Sunday. I was quite surpised I got to over 8k steps. These were mainly from grocery shopping. Drum roll please...
Three grocery runs today. Lol
I went to a not so far away grocery store in the morning to buy some pork items. Since we are in a Muslim country, there are only designated shops where we could buy pork. We're not frequent meat eaters, but it's good to have some in stock.
It's just within walking distance, but I opted to drive (literally less than 5 minutes) because it was windy. 🥶
Around late afternoon, I again went for the main grocery shopping. I meant, grocery shopping for the coming week's supplies. I think I already said it before, but everything is just so deymn expensive these days. If grocery shopping was my of destressing before, it now makes me so anxious especially as I approach the check out counters. 😪🥴
That is also why I sometimes need to go to 3 stores when doing grocery shopping- 1 for pork, second for the main supplies, third for from the grocery that offer lots of cheap items.
Because of that, I did not buy rice during the "main" grocery shopping earlier because it was more expensive there. Hence I needed to go out for the third time just to buy rice. It was from the same store I bought pork from. I decided to just walk instead of bring the car. I also dragged the kids along with me. I'm quite surprised they agreed. 😆
I checked my actifit app and yay for getting over 8k steps. I wasn't really planning on making any actifit post today, hence no proper photos. Sorry about the random text breaks.
It's almost midnight. I thought I could sleep early tonight, but...

Yay! 8K steps.. I don't know how to use actifit if not, I would be able to reach thousands of steps.
I am also affected by the current prices of groceries. It seems that everywhere we go, we will feel the increase in the prices of goods.
Yeah, inflation is real! Lol. Like, the increases are not in cents, but really significant amount.
I also don't get much steps most days. Sometimes, barely a thousand. Haha. Not unless i really become intentional about it (which isnt always the case). That's why today was a surprise. 😆
