We are excited to present another round of our curation effort.
Reports included are selected by the Actifit team. Curated reports received extra upvote rewards by OCD team.
Reports were selected based on various factors, including content quality, originality, and the information within. They can be a fun read, an inspiration or a motivation for all of us and of course, to earn more rewards, but it also helps to make more friends :)
Via this initiative, we are trying to accomplish the below:
- Increase the rewards to our existing high-quality content writers(in addition to our existing quality content focused report rewards and weekly staff picks selections)
- Bring in new fitness bloggers to actifit and hive with quality focus
- Motivate existing users to write better quality content and compete over rewards.

Some tips for writing a good Actifit report.
Writing a nice and beautiful Actifit report is not a daunting task. Talking about your daily activity in a presentable manner can get you to the top list.
Try to make your report readable and understandable.
The arrangement of the images also makes the content look attractive. Goes without saying, target using original high-quality images that you own. Using images from other sources is not advisable unless properly attributed and care is taken not to abuse any copyrights.
Plagiarism is a big NO-NO. In case we find plagiarized content, your account risks getting banned. Please take a look at our Actifit Etiquette for further details.

Don't drag my name into your sham. Anybody that follows Actifit community a little bit can easily see how biased this curation is, obviously driven mostly by favoritism and not quality. Like I said, it is shameful and damaging to our community. It's not a good look for @ocd @ocdb either, but they don't seem to care.
what's the matter?
I go through the entire list of Actifit posts almost daily, and since this curation started, I've seen it ignore much better reports every day, so it can reward the same users over and over, regardless of the quality (don't get me wrong, some are great sometimes, but clearly not all of them). I am aware curation is subjective (and of course very difficult), but in this case, the favoritism has been way too obvious from the beginning. It has damaged our community reputation, and discouraged some users. The exact opposite of what it's supposed to do.
I just saw your upvote on my last post, thanks, I appreciate it. Of course, my intention was not to fish or beg for upvotes though. I'm just hoping for a fair curation, that would be much better for the Actifit community.
I don't have as good of an overview of the nomination process since I've been away due to health reasons, but I can attempt to check and ask. All I know is they get a lot of posts daily and they've mentioned that the quality has increased a lot.

Thank you for the feedback, Indeed curation is tedious especially with the number of reports we receive daily. We have 2 members trying to find the best content to reward, and as @acidyo mentioned below indeed quality has improved but also we're getting new participants getting rewarded,including lots of new comers.
If you are constantly missed with great content please do notify us, we will try to improve also our curation reach. There are though cases which do not make it, due to posting on chains other than hive, this is a requirement by ocd team so participants are not eligible for rewards. Again I appreciate you looking after quality content in Actifit, our discord is always open as well.
Thanks for the response. I tried genuine questions, then more confrontational approach, and finally aggressive, always ignored. I guess it just needed to get the people with the delegated HP involved...
I said several times curation is difficult and very time consuming. However, I really don't see how that justifies rewarding bad quality content. Every day, several upvoted posts are just one or a few bad quality pics (very blurry, random, selfies) and a few words. That is very insulting to all the users who actually made the effort to post good pictures, along with their story. Many of these upvoted posts don't even follow your own recommendation in Actifit etiquette. If these mistakes were random, we could think it's maybe to distribute the wealth. Only they always benefit the same users, that is the very definition of favoritism. Are you saying they're upvoted just because they're newcomers? Because that is certainly not from the quality. 'Other chains' include the automatic post on Blurt? If it does, that information should be somewhere on Actifit communication, did I miss it?
Thanks, but I am not really concerned about my own posts. They usually get at least 100 upvotes, and I am content with that most days. I understood almost at the beginning they would never get the upvote anyways, when one of my good posts (not according to me, but other curators) got ignored, while a post with a blurry pic of a cake and a very short text basically saying 'busy this week, no time, very tired, but I ate cake...' got picked. On the same day, a post with a random pic (blurry again) along with another very short text saying 'I have no idea what to say on my Actifit posts', also got upvoted. I knew right then it was a sham, especially since it wasn't the first time these two users were upvoted for no apparent reason. Another great example a couple months ago. For an entire week while I was on vacation, pinmapple picked all my daily Actifit posts for their curation, and even twice Top 3. These posts also got some engagement from outside Actifit. They were of course all ignored by this curation, while plenty of posts that are frown upon on Hive were selected. And again from the same users...
It was bad at the beginning and it never improved, it got worse actually. Like you said, there are a lot of posts, don't you find it weird that a very limited number of users ever get picked? And some of these users have been getting a lot of visibility for months now because of the OCD trail, and yet, without the upvote, they still barely get a few upvotes. That's a clear sign. By the way, did you also notice that your reports used to get at least 60 upvotes, now barely 20 before the big OCD upvote.
We've all heard the bad comments about our community. I even read one literally saying 'On Actifit, they slap a selfie and get $10'. Where do you think this kind of comments come from?
Anyways, you can try and justify it any way you want, I will repeat it: this curation is based on favoritism, it is shameful and has significantly damaged our community reputation on Hive.
