[ESP/ENG] Mi trabajo en el festival deportivo: Playa, Sol y Arena 🔆 || My work at the sports festival: Beach, Sun and Sand 🔆

Saludos a mi querida comunidad de FullDeportes, quiero expresar entre líneas lo que fue mi experiencia en el festival deportivo llamado Playa, Sol y Arena que se celebró en la Vereda del Lago, municipio Maracaibo, Venezuela. Un trabajo extraordinario, hecho con motivo al asueto de Carnaval. Para mí significa uno de los últimos trabajos dentro del Instituto Municipal del Deporte y la Recreación (IMDEPREC), ya que notifiqué ante la dirección no continuar en dicho trabajo por motivos personales que me obligan a separarme de las labores que desempeño dentro de la institución.

De aquí me llevo la experiencia, amistades y sobretodo un gran aprendizaje que envuelve y llena mi mundo por el amor que le tengo al deporte.

Básicamente, dentro de mis labores estaba acercarme a cada actividad deportiva, organizada en las distintas parroquias del municipio. Para mí es normal tener que ir a una cancha, es mi oficina favorita, mi mundo.

En la actividad que cubrí hubo varias actividades deportivas y recreacionales. Nosotros como instituto somos los responsables a que todo se dé y marche de la mejor manera. El sábado por la mañana hubo cierta cantidad de gente que permitió el arranque de disciplinas como el Ultimate Frisbee, fútbol de playa y voleibol de playa, todas estos juegos fueron desarrollados bajo un intenso sol cerca del lago de Maracaibo.

Mientras transcurrían las horas y se iban terminando los juegos, hubo un instante en el que paramos, al mediodía es bastante difícil jugar y la gente dejó de acercarse. Nosotros íbamos a estar todo el día, así que nos quedamos hasta la tarde, cuando algunos se animaron a participar en actividades recreacionales.

Hubo bailoterapia, dinámicas para los más jóvenes y sobretodo mucho ánimo por quienes estábamos comprometidos en que todo saliera bien.

Yo como periodista desempeñé mi labor con comodidad, también aproveché el tiempo libre para aprender algunas técnicas del Ultimate Frisbee, un deporte realmente entretenido e interesante. Más adelante, decidí hacerle una entrevista al Presidente del Instituto Municipal del Deporte, Wilinton Argote, y le dije que aprovechara la oportunidad de invitar a más personas para que asistan a actividades hechas en ese lugar.

Agarré mi micrófono y empecé a grabar, además, fue la ocasión perfecta para realizar fotografías y puedo decir que estoy muy orgullosa del teléfono que compré, no lo había utilizado de la mejor manera y habían muchos trucos que pude descubrir con esta actividad.

Mi fuerte es el deporte, es por eso que me gusta captar la acción, si bien es cierto que mi deber es informar y estar en el lugar de los hechos, a los periodistas también nos enseñan a captar los momentos más importantes. Muchos utilizan cámara profesional, yo simplemente uso un teléfono para hacer el trabajo. He aprendido mucho a lo largo de este tiempo.

Varias personas se acercaron para lo que sería una tarde emocionante y divertida, lo importante es que muchos niños, jóvenes y adultos pudieron sonreír y liberarse un poco. Nada como salir de la rutina y encontrarse con algo así, lamentablemente, yo ese día estaba trabajando a medias. ¿Por qué a medias? Porque me sentía mal, tenía un dolor en la parte baja de la espalda debido a una lesión que tengo desde hace más de un año. Gracias a Dios que en ese lugar había una clínica móvil y me inyectaron para el dolor, de resto, todo estuvo bien.

En la Vereda también hubo actividades como Balonmano de playa, Fut Flag, juegos tradicionales y una carrera de disfraces. Todo en un divertido encuentro deportivo en un espacio verde tan reconocido como la Vereda del Lago.

Al final hubo premiación en algunas disciplinas deportivas a algunos jugadores por haber participado en esta actividad.

Greetings to my dear community of FullDeportes, I want to express between lines what was my experience in the sports festival called Playa, Sol y Arena that was held in Vereda del Lago, Maracaibo, Venezuela. An extraordinary work, done on the occasion of the Carnival holiday. For me it means one of the last jobs within the Municipal Institute of Sports and Recreation (IMDEPREC), since I notified the management not to continue in this work for personal reasons that force me to separate from the work I perform within the institution.

From here I take with me the experience, friendships and above all a great learning that surrounds and fills my world because of the love I have for the sport.

Basically, among my tasks was to get close to every sports activity organized in the different parishes of the municipality. For me it is normal to have to go to a court, it is my favorite office, my world.

In the activity I covered there were several sports and recreational activities. We, as an institute, are responsible for making sure that everything goes as smoothly as possible. On Saturday morning there was a certain amount of people that allowed the start of disciplines such as Ultimate Frisbee, beach soccer and beach volleyball, all these games were developed under an intense sun near the lake of Maracaibo.

As the hours passed and the games were finishing, there was a moment when we stopped, at noon it is quite difficult to play and people stopped coming. We were going to stay all day, so we stayed until the afternoon, when some of them were encouraged to participate in recreational activities.

There was dance therapy, dynamics for the younger ones and above all a lot of encouragement from those of us who were committed to making sure that everything went well.

As a journalist, I performed my work comfortably, and I also took advantage of the free time to learn some Ultimate Frisbee techniques, a really entertaining and interesting sport. Later, I decided to interview the President of the Municipal Institute of Sports, Wilinton Argote, and I told him to take the opportunity to invite more people to attend activities done in that place.

I grabbed my microphone and started recording, it was also the perfect opportunity to take pictures and I can say that I am very proud of the phone I bought, I had not used it in the best way and there were many tricks that I could discover with this activity.

My forte is sports, that's why I like to capture the action, although it is true that my duty is to inform and be on the scene, journalists are also taught to capture the most important moments. Many use a professional camera, I simply use a phone to do the job. I have learned a lot during this time.

Several people came for what would be an exciting and fun afternoon, the important thing is that many children, young people and adults were able to smile and let off some steam. Nothing like getting out of the routine and meeting something like this, unfortunately, that day I was working half-heartedly. Why half-heartedly? Because I was feeling bad, I had a pain in my lower back due to an injury I have had for more than a year. Thank God there was a mobile clinic there and they gave me an injection for the pain, otherwise everything was fine.

In the Vereda there were also activities such as beach handball, Fut Flag, traditional games and a costume race. All in a fun sporting event in a green space as well known as the Vereda del Lago.

There were also awards in some sports disciplines to some players for having participated in this activity.
