Saludos amigos de la comunidad @fulldeportes, seguimos creando contenido deportivo y celebrando esta fiesta del deporte de los gigantes con la finales de conferencia de la NBA. Aquí le comparto mi pequeño resumen y mis impresiones referentes al primer partido de la final de conferencia oeste entre los Lakers y los Denver Nuggets que se disputó el día de ayer 16 de mayo.

Here I share with you my little summary and my impressions regarding the first game of the Western Conference Finals between the Lakers and the Denver Nuggets that took place yesterday, May 16.

Para este primer partido los Denver nuggets se hacen con la victoria ante los Ángeles Lakers que vienen de derrotar cuatro partidos por dos al combo de Stephen Curry. Un partido lleno de emociones y donde todas las miradas se centran en los gigantes de cada equipo como lo son Nikola Jokić por parte de los Denver nuggets y cómo lo es AtHhony Davis por parte de los Ángeles Lakers, estos dos jugadores han centrado millones de miradas que quieren ver un verdadero espectáculo de gigantes que han demostrado dar la cara por su equipo en la pintura.

For this first game the Denver Nuggets take the victory against the Los Angeles Lakers who come from defeating four games by two to Stephen Curry's combo, in a game full of emotions and where all eyes are focused on the giants of each team as are Nikola Jokić by the Denver Nuggets and how is Anthony Davis by the Los Angeles Lakers, these two players have focused millions of eyes who want to see a real show of giants who have proven to stand up for their team in the paint.

Dentro de las acciones a destacar de este partido, resaltó el muy buen juego que dieron los Denver Nuggets haciendo respetar su casa y regalándole a su público un verdadero espectáculo. Nuggets domino la primera mitad de este partido de forma contundente para irse al descanso de medio tiempo con una diferencia de 18 puntos con marcador de 72 x 54.

Lo que sería el tercer y cuarto periodo de este partido lo ganarían los Lakers pero aun así esto no bastó para hacerse con la victoria, ya que el resultado final de este partido fue de 132 sobre 126 a favor de los Denver Nuggets, para ganar así por una diferencia de tan solo seis puntos, algo que genera un poco de tranquilidad para nosotros los fanáticos de los Lakers ya que en la forma en que había comenzado el partido podíamos deducir de que los Lakers perderían por una ventaja aún mayor, pero el equipo tuvo una segunda mitad de partido bastante interesante y mucho más organizada que la primera mitad, y aunque no se logró la victoria los Lakers estuvieron muy cerca de igualar las acciones.

Among the highlights of this game, the Denver Nuggets played a very good game, respecting their home and giving their fans a true spectacle. Nuggets dominated the first half of the game and went to the halftime break with a difference of 18 points with a score of 72 x 54.

What would be the third and fourth periods of this game would be won by the Lakers but still this was not enough to get the victory, as the final score of this game was 132 over 126 in favor of the Denver Nuggets, to win by a difference of only six points, something that generates a bit of tranquility for us Lakers fans since the way the game had started we could deduce that the Lakers would lose by an even bigger advantage, but the team had a second half of the game quite interesting and much more organized than the first half, and although the victory was not achieved the Lakers were very close to equalize the actions.

¿Que paso en el partido desde mi punto de vista? / What happened in the match from my point of view?

Puedo alegar como impresiones referente al partido, que los Lakers al comienzo realmente estuvieron muy inseguros tanto en los pases como en concretar los tiros, cómo podemos observar fue un partido de bastantes puntos lo cual lo lleva a un ritmo bastante agitado, donde debe haber mucha concentración, organización y rendimiento por parte de los jugadores no solo de los Lakers sino de ambos equipos, pero estos pequeños errores de inseguridad y también del fallo defensivo por parte de los Ángeles Lakers en la primera mitad del partido fueron los que los llevaron a verse en la obligación de aumentar su ritmo de juego para la segunda mitad y con esto caer ante los Denver Nuggets.

Este tipo de situaciones podemos sumarle que nunca es fácil jugar como visitantes, y no es una excusa sino más bien un alago para el equipo que gana en casa, ya que la hacen respetar tal cual como lo hicieron los Lakers ante los Golden State Warriors en la semifinales, cosa que hizo también los Denver Nuggets ante los Suns.

I can claim as impressions regarding the game, that the Lakers at the beginning were really very insecure both in the passes and in making the shots, as we can see it was a game of many points which leads to a very hectic pace, where there must be a lot of concentration, organization and performance on the part of the players not only of the Lakers but of both teams, but these small errors of insecurity and also the defensive failure on the part of the Los Angeles Lakers in the first half of the game were what led them to be forced to increase their pace of play for the second half and thus fall to the Denver Nuggets.

This type of situation we can add that it is never easy to play as visitors, and it is not an excuse but rather a compliment for the team that wins at home, as they make them respect it as the Lakers did against the Golden State Warriors in the semifinals, and the Denver Nuggets also did against the Suns.

Tierra de gigantes / Land of giants

Como era de suponerse tanto para los aficionados de los Lakers como para los aficionados de los Nuggets se esperaba ver en acción a sus grandes gigantes en la pintura y realmente así sucedió, las actuaciones de Nikola Jokić y Anthony Davis fueron determinantes para sus equipos, vimos a un excelente Jokić parado firme en la pintura y concretando la mayor parte de los puntos incluso hasta en la larga distancia para los Denver nuggets, y lo mismo vimos de Anthony Davis concretando 40 increíbles puntos en este partido. Sin duda alguna, estos dos jugadores serán el factor primordial y base firme de ambos equipos para poder titularlos como campeones en su debido momento.

As expected, both Lakers and Nuggets fans expected to see their giants in action in the paint and it really happened, the performances of Nikola Jokić and Anthony Davis were decisive for their teams, we saw an excellent Jokić standing firm in the paint and scoring most of the points even from long distance for the Denver Nuggets, and we saw the same from Anthony Davis scoring 40 incredible points in this game. Undoubtedly, these two players will be the main factor and firm base of both teams to be able to start them as champions in due time.

¿Podrían los Lakers robarles un partido en casa a los Nuggets? / Could the Lakers steal a home game from the Nuggets?

Este episodio ya lo vivimos en el primer juego de la semifinales de los Lakers ante los Warriors donde a pesar de estar jugando en condición de visitante los Ángeles Lakers robaron un triunfo importante a los Warriors y lo mismo podría pasar el día de mañana 18 de Mayo que se jugará nuevamente en el Pepsi Center, donde por supuesto los Nuggets intentarán nuevamente hacer respetar su casa pero si detallamos bien el partido y los Lakers hubiesen al menos comenzado con un mejor ritmo estoy 100% seguro de que hubiesen ganado este partido de forma cómoda, tomando en cuenta que vimos a un Lebron James con tan solo 26 puntos en el partido, y esta baja de puntos de James fue la que hizo falta para que los Lakers pudieran concretar una victoria, porque vimos a un Anthony Davis hacer la mayor parte del trabajo en este primer partido.

We already experienced this episode in the first game of the Lakers semifinals against the Warriors where despite playing away the Los Angeles Lakers stole an important win from the Warriors and the same could happen tomorrow May 18 that will be played again at the Pepsi Center, where of course the Nuggets will try again to respect their home but if we detail well the game and the Lakers had at least started with a better rhythm I am 100% sure that they would have won this game comfortably, taking into account that we saw a Lebron James with only 26 points in the game, and this low points from James was what was needed for the Lakers to achieve a victory, because we saw an Anthony Davis doing most of the work in this first game.
