PIZZABOWL BOX POOL
It's that time of year again, and since I can't legally use the "Super" word let's call this the PIZZABOWL. This years game will be Sunday, February 13th at 11:30pm UTC and will see the Cincinnati Bengals play the Los Angeles Rams. If you're familiar with American Football, you probably already know all about box pools when it comes to the PIZZABOWL. If not, don't worry, you don't need to have any knowledge about the game to win some $PIZZA. Let's start with the boxes:
I've numbered each box from 1-100 for ease of choosing. All you have to do is select which box(es) you'd like to buy. Each one will cost 5 $PIZZA and you can buy as many as you'd like. Boxes will be on a first come, first paid basis. So comment below with which boxes you want, but be sure to send the pizza to @theacks to secure your selections (adding your box numbers in the memo will be helpful as well). Be prepared to select another box just incase someone else has beaten you to it. I'll ping you if that's the case, but please be prompt in making another selection.
Once all the boxes have been bought, numbers 0-9 will be randomly selected across the top and along the left side. These numbers represent the last digit in the score for each team. For example, let's pretend the numbers for the Bengals and Rams both go in order from 0-9. If I had box number 1, my numbers would be 0 for the Bengals and 0 for the Rams. In American football, there are 4 quarters, so if a quarter ends with the score 10-0, I win.
There are a total of 100 boxes. With each box costing 5 $PIZZA, there will be a total of 500 $PIZZA up for grabs! As mentioned above, if your numbers match the last digit of the score at the end of a quarter, you'll win some $PIZZA. Each quarter will have the following prize.
- 1st quarter - 50 $PIZZA
- Halftime - 150 $PIZZA
- 3rd quarter - 50 $PIZZA
- FINAL score - 250 $PIZZA
Please note that we will be going with the final score of the game for the last quarter prize. So if the game is tied at the end of the 4th quarter and goes into overtime, the score at the end of overtime will be what determines the winner. If this is the case, whoever has the right score at the end of the 4th quarter will receive a random rare Splinterlands card from me.
I plan to periodically update the chart above with each participants username in their respective boxes.
Hopefully this all makes sense. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out either in the comments below or on Discord.
Good luck to all of our participants!!
Boxes are filling in. Be sure to get yours while they last.
Count me in! Thanks for putting this together!
