Unexpected boxes of Sport Trading Cards (Where do they all come from?)

Moving houses and clearing rooms always brings surprises, some good and some bad. I recently got rid of two boxes full of sports cards and thought I had finally cleared them out of my life but alas, upon clearing the attic of boxes I discovered another hoard of sports cards! They were all in ratty boxes that must've been with me for two or three moves previously. I cautiously opened the boxes expecting yellowed crusted over cardboard that hadn't survived the elements but I was amazed to find that maybe eighty percent of the cards where in plastic sleeves and thus protected from the wears of time!

I decided to bring them along and began the process of packing them in newer, cleaner boxes and put them in my moving pile, I would deal with them after moving.

After a solid week of hard work and settling in to the new establishment, I made it a top priority to start compiling a list of what the boxes contained:

I started small with the three boxes on the top left. I miscalculated how long it would take because while they may be small boxes they were deep and trading cards can stack so well.

The card on the bottom left is a heavily faded holographic card but I managed to capture it in this picture!

The oversized card resting on the lid was a surprise, I had no idea they made cards that big!

Halfway through this black box and I had to wave the white flag, Sorting the cards and compiling a list was hard work! I'll have to rest and take another crack at finishing the rest of the boxes later.

I've tried my best to keep a clear list but some of the cards weren't clear on who created them or were spread out amongst the piles so I put them in a miscellaneous list.

It goes abbreviated year, player name, card number. I hope that makes it clear enough. If there is any requests for a photo of a specific card, please leave a comment and I'll gladly share a picture of it!
