Description from Strava:
I will be posting more Strava activities this month as part of Move-ember. This is something we do at work and we have a couple of teams competing to clock up the most distance. So I will log my walks to work and may run more. Those will only appear on Hive if I add a description. I do not want to flood my feed over there.

Yesterday was my first parkrun in ages. The course was not too bad at Henlow, but the lake is still over the banks in places. There was a good turnout and I was just about in the top third. I did find it hard work, but then I have not been running at that pace lately. I need to do more interval work.

Today was a gentle run to get in some distance. It was quite nice out there, but there is a lack of sun that is no good for our solar panels. There are lots of Halloween decorations still out. There were fireworks going on last night with Bonfire Night on Tuesday plus there was Diwali the other day.

I did a version of my usual loop and it was fairly quiet out there. I did take some different turns for a bit of variety. After the long track across the fields I went straight on into Etonbury Woods to get a more direct route home. I managed to get stung by a nettle there.

As I was coming down the new road into Arlesey a group of about eight runners came the other way. Nobody I recognised.

I have some gardening and other chores to do today.

Enjoy your weekend and run free.

Your running such a long distance really inspires me, although right now I am doing whisk walking instead of running, but I hope soon I will also start running KMs. :)

Sounds like too much fireworks going on out there. Two loud events one after another. Love the commitment to running keep inspiring!

Not too shabby results here Steve. It's November again! Man, days are flying by. Nothing like some healthy competition to up those workout stats in winter! Good luck!

I love the punkin carving. Pretty original idea!
