When it comes to getting curation rewards and you want to get maximize the rewards, you have to update a post in a 5-minute window before bigger upvotes hit the post. To read the post and upvote it at that specific time is very difficult even if you are online.
Here on SportsTalkSocial, you do not need to upvote at the specific 5-minute window, you can take your time, read the post, and then support that. So am I really getting 50% curation rewards? Let's check this out.

1629.848 x 50% = 814.924 SPORTS.
At the end of 7 days, I am supposed to get 814.924 SPORTS.
You can see that I got 50% curation rewards from my upvote and I did not upvote in the 5-minute window. Let's see another post.

So I am supposed to get 907.561 SPORTS after 7 days. Let's see what I actually get at the end of 7 days.
I got exactly 50% curation rewards and again I did not upvote that post in the 5-minute window.

I think it was a great move to go to linear rewarding. Lets just keep moving the entire sport community forward and incentives new development that in turn creates more incentives for the users of the community.

I don't usually have time to create sport contents lately so I bought over 700k sport tokens, my aim is to get 1M for now. Curation is all I do from here and am just loving how I ranked at 248 on the rich list, lol :)

I think I should concentrate on curation there. Can I do that from hive front end interface like ecency on sporttalk tag posts? Or i need to log in sporttalksocial website?
You can curate from any front end as long as #sportstalk tag is used in the post. But I recommend using https://www.sportstalksocial.com/ where you can see your SPORTS value while upvoting any post.
I think I'm getting more than 50%, at some point, it reached almost 60%.
I feel that Sportstalk is providing generous returns by simply curating sports content... which is awesome.

When there was a 5-minute window, curation rewards increases if you upvote earlier. You can still use auto vote and you will get 50% curation rewards. People who upvote later will not get less curation rewards. It is more like you will earn completely based on your stake.
Hope people will stake more SPORTS token to maximize the curation rewards.
I also made a post tabulating my curation performance in LeoFinance. Seems like Leo users are intrigued by the high curation rewards here in Sportstalk.
IMO, Sports is a good investment.
Also, its legitimacy was validated by the OCD incubation program. Making Sportstalk social more attractive than ever ;)
