This is the first season where daily quest has changed to the focus quest and ride was quite bumpy for me for initial few days when I got 3 potions in 5 Diamond chest and 2 common cards. earning 5 chest was also consumed lot of effort at that time as I feel that may be in initial days competition is little stiff.
Initially I thought that this update is going to lot of dissatisfaction as it is require to play so much and in the end players are not getting good rewards but as the season progressed , I found that my average value of rewards in "focus chests" is actually more as compared to earlier "Daily quest" rewards chest.
At this point of season , I generally earn 10 + 10 or 10 +12 chest (considering my 2 accounts) that make some 20 to 22 chest openings.
But in focus chest , I am opening less then 15 Diamond "focus Chest" and I already got 6 Chaos packs , 2 Legendary cards and nice amount of DEC.
When I checked my season+ Daily quest rewards for last season, I see that I only got 3 Chaos packs and 1 legendary only. I am already have earned double number of Chaos packs and Legendries and I still have to claim 5 daily Focus chest and end of season chest. Definitely the rewards are earned multifold and actually more you win, you can earn more more focus chest and this make a good proposition for a skilled players and filling the gaps in your deck that will make game more fun to play for all players.
I also feel good that if due to some reason you are not able to play then you can just rent out the cards and collect some cool rental income.
I am now eagerly waiting for End of season rewards and I am sure that I will some good rewards in that too.

So that means the Gold and above are getting good rewards. In Silver, I am opening around 10 daily and not getting good ones.

I heard that in Silver people are getting chest like crazy , someone written he collected 18 chest in a day.
It is tough to collect chest in Diamond, Rewards are still random but you average them to long period, then you can say Diamond players are certainly benefitted.

The new rewarding system works fine so far. I've earned a nice number of chests as I play actively. Moreover, renting actions and daily transactions are doing very well thanks to the new system.

I found the first two days difficult, from the third day on I got a hang of the new system and its been good so far. How low do you deplete your ECR?

I am also got adapting to system. I do not go below 75% ECR or 5 chest on a account daily.
It happen only one that I went below 70% to get 5 chest.
Nothing very "hard and fast" but my playing is governed towards ECR (not to go below 70% at any case and keep it above 75% ) instead of number of chest.

I am placing importance on my ECR as well it is really tough staying above 70%, my target is not to drop below 65% and still not the easy to manage unless I want to settle for 2 or 3 Chests per day

2-3 chest is too low, I will suggest let it recharge to atleast 90% again before resuming play.
On side note maybe you need to change your time of play and fixing the gap in deck if your win rate is too low.

Woa, you have great luck or I am just super unlucky. I have yet to get any legendary cards and only 1 chao pack despite opening champion chests.

It looks like the new system is doing great for you but I feel that my luck has been bad. Right now, I have only gotten 1 legendary and zero packs compared to last season where I got 2 packs and a legendary. So I think it just depends.

hmm.. Are your chests are also Diamond level?
More higher the league, rewards are tend to be good (by Average)
