Sorare.com Week 16 | Tier 4 Rare Mint & 5 Box Rewards (+5$ Earnings)

I have highly been enjoying Sorare.com a lot now going into my 3rd year mainly playing in the Rare competitions. Each Week, I'm making an update post on what's happening in the ecosystem and how I'm doing personally.

No real rewards from any of my lineups last week as boxes aren't really worth much when you do the calculation. I did use 50 Rare essence to mint a Tier 4 rare card which turned out to a Defender from Burnley who currently isn't playing. I did put him on the market but will likely have to lower my price to get him sold.

Regular Season Week 16 Rare Results

Goalkeepers mostly disappointed last week and I'm surprised to still get rare box rewards with my teams just getting 316 & 287 points.

New Week Rare Lineups!

I managed to get in 6 rare lineups again but multiple goalkeepers are uncertain at this point and Bodart got injured so I can't use him. So I don't really expect much more this week than a couple of unlikely lottery tickets.

Limited Teams & Results

Having a stack of a good team tends to be a recipe to success and I'm glad I own it with Antwerp where nearly all players also have a high bonus % because of their level and the collection. Spamming this team week after week always tends to get some kind of reward and at times it competes for a card prize. This week the team lost but still got 338 points good for a box reward. I also had 2 other lineups that got a box reward with 302 points (Champion) / 261 points (U23)

New Week Limited Lineups!

Also on my Limited teams I don't have that much confidence. Mainly the goalkeepers al play against top teams and will have a very hard time to keep a clean sheet.

Player Transfers & Reward Card

I listed the player that I minted at the lowest listed price but haven't gotten any offers yet. I might lower the price a bit more or just wait until he plays again as based on past points he looks like quite a good one. Aside from this I haven't heard yet of Jorday Beyer.

I'm still thinking of selling some other cards but haven't put the time in yet and just keep holding what I have and see where it goes.

Season 2024-2025 Owned Collection Value

It's fairly easy to track your personal earnings on the Sobase.Football website. We seem to be at a point again where the rewards don't fully compensate for the drop in card values over time as more get printed and dumped on the market.

I am no longer putting outside funds into Sorare at this point and will track my total account value from here on out weekly.

From the looks of it, it will be hard to outearn the decrease in card values as more and more are being put up for sale on the market.

Conclusion

I'm still having a ton of fun with Sorare and I'm highly looking forward to the coming weekend. If I win something or manage to break even I'm already a happy player. Given the continued inflation, this is a game and not an investment.
