COULD THIS BE THE REVENGE MOMENT FOR CITY?

avatar

The international break is already over in most of the continents except for South America where some matches will be played today and tomorrow before the South Americans will have to join their respective clubs.

Although the Brazilians who are playing in English Premier League will not have access to play for their respective club due to the FIFA banned that disengage them from playing till next week Wednesday. Meaning players such as Thiago Silver, Emerson, Allison Beaker, Fred etc will not play this weekend for their respective club.

Leicester City will be hosting their Community Shield rival whom they defeated by a goal to nill scored by the former Manchester city and Nigeria international striker from a Penalty spot when the match is almost looking like a draw. Kelechi scored the winning goal for Leicester city after 89 minute of goalless action to break the deadlock.

Both team will be playing this weekend at King power stadium. The truth is that Manchester City will definitely be seeking for revenge for loosing the community shield to Leicester. Leicester on the other hand are also in a fine form and may also have to capitalized on the fact that Manchester city striker Gabriel Jesus will not be playing and also their first choice keeper will be missing?

Do you think Liecester can defend the winning by getting a winning again or a draw?

From my own perspective i say yes.city is going to come out in a very aggressive way to deal with them after humiliating them in front of their home fans last season.

(Edited)

This is not going to just be a revenge game, but a bid to stamp their feet as the champion and reigning king in the EPL. What we should wish to avoid is a humiliation of the home team(Leicester City) as the away team(Manchester city). The score might be devastating. The away team may likely score like 5 goals in the match

Leicester is in a good form but Manchester City is in better form than them..

Knowing that they were beaten by Leicester, they will put more effort to humiliate them..

Notwithstanding, the reverse might be the case...
