Italian A League Football Championship Results: 14th round + Fantasy Football Olio di Balena: Results and Statistics After 12th Round

Yesterday, December 6, 2021 ended the sixteenth round of the Italian soccer championship of the Serie A.
The most important match of the round number 16 of the Italian soccer championship of the highest series was the match between Napoli and Atalanta.

Napoli - Atalanta

---

The match between Napoli and Atalanta was played on Saturday, December 4 at 18:00.
Napoli first in the ranking faced the team fourth in the ranking.
Before the match the two teams were separated by 5 points in the ranking.
Atalanta came to the Maradona Stadium in Naples in perfect condition, strong from their four consecutive victories obtained in the previous rounds and with an almost full squad.
Napoli, on the other hand, arrived at the match against Atalanta with many problems due to injuries.

Atalanta started strongly and in the seventh minute of the first half scored its first goal.
Zapata receives a ball on the left lane, enters the penalty area of Napoli and passes the ball to his teammate Ruslan Malinovs'kyj who from the edge of the penalty area comes running and with a powerful shot scores a nice goal.
Napoli wasted a clear scoring opportunity around the twelfth minute of the first half with Lozano who failed to deflect Mario Rui's cross into the goal.
Atalanta makes itself dangerous again in the 23rd minute with a shot from midfielder Pessina who, again on an assist from Zapata, shoots and the ball ends up just wide of the goal.
In the 29th minute Napoli tries again with Lozano who enters the penalty area and shoots on goal but Atalanta's goalkeeper parries without any particular problem.
In the 39th minute Napoli draws thanks to Zielinski who shoots twice in the Atalanta penalty area: the first shot is blocked by the Atalanta defense and on the rebound the ball comes back to Zielinski who this time doesn't miss and hits the goal.
The first half ends with the score tied: 1-1.
At minute 47 of the match, after only two minutes from the start of the second half, Napoli takes the lead thanks to a goal by Mertens who sprints on the offside line from midfield and with a shot as soon as he enters the Atalanta penalty area scores a nice goal.
In the 52nd minute Atalanta hits a goalpost with a beautiful header in the penalty area by Zapata who is unlucky in this occasion.
Atalanta continues to attack and in the 65th minute manages to balance the score with a goal scored by defender Demiral who in this occasion looks more like an attacker than a defender.
At the 70th minute it is again a shot from the edge of the Napoli area that ends up on goal.
Freuler scores from Ilicic's assist to put Gasperini's team ahead.
No dangerous action until the 92nd minute, in full recovery time, when Politano with a great personal action enters in the area and crosses, on the first shot of Napoli rebounded by Atalanta's defense comes Petagna who shoots however high over the crossbar.
The match ends with the result of 3 to 2 for Atalanta.

The match between Napoli and Atalanta was a beautiful match full of emotions and goals.
Looking at the statistics Atalanta shot more on goal than Napoli, who instead had more ball possession:

• Total shots: Napoli 15 - Atalanta 21
• Shots on goal: Napoli 4 - Atalanta 7
• Ball Possession: Napoli 55% - Atalanta 45%.
• Passes: Napoli 531 - Atalanta 432
• Corner kicks: Napoli 6 - Atalanta 7

Napoli not only loses the match but also the first place in the ranking that is now occupied by AC Milan.

As for the other matches of the sixteenth round of the Serie A:

• Milan wins at home against Salernitana with the result of 2-0.
• Roma loses in its own stadium against Inter conceding three goals: 0-3
• Fiorentina wins the regional derby against Bologna: 2-3.
• Lazio wins against Sampdoria
• Juventus wins against Genoa.

Fantasy Football "Olio di Balena"

On Hive there is a competition that is related to the Serie A soccer league: the fantasy football of the community "Olio di Balena".

The organizer of the fantasy soccer is @poliwalt10 while I am a simple participant and my team is called HIVEntus FC.
The fantasy football competition started with the third round of the Italian Serie A and has now reached the fourteenth day of play.
In the following image you can see the updated ranking after fourteen rounds of play.

Description Chart:

On the x-axis there are the game days indicated by the respective numbers.
Each line of the graph corresponds to a specific position in the ranking and the first line from the top indicates the first place.
Each team is identified by a line of a precise color that allows you to easily follow the trend, day after day, of the ranking of each team.
On the right there are the names of the teams participating in fantasy soccer and each line ends near the name of the corresponding team.

The placement of the teams in the ranking after the fourteenth round of play is almost identical to the previous round.
My HIVEntus remains in first place for the fifth time in a row, in second place is the Filarb Team which maintains its second second place for the fourth time in a row and in third and fourth place are the GianLFC and FC Corto Muso teams.

The only positions that change occupant are the fifth position and the seventh position.
FantaVision - Gimbo Edition loses two positions and slips from the fifth place to the seventh, while The Rock Rams moves up two positions in the ranking and now occupies the fifth place.

The last two positions of the ranking remain unchanged with the teams Cosenza and Zottoni occupying respectively the eighth and ninth position in the ranking.

Let's see now the distances in points between the teams after 14 rounds of play.

The ranking is longer than in the previous round of play.
The distance in points between HIVEntus FC (first place) and Zottoni (ninth and last place) is 138.5 points.
The distance between the teams in the first two positions in the ranking decreases compared to the previous round: Filarb Team is 20 points away from HIVEntus FC (previous round 21.5 points away).

Taking as a unit of measure a gap of about 20 points we can identify 5 blocks in the ranking:

• HIVEntus FC and Filarb Team form the first block because they are enclosed in a range of 20 points.
• GianLFC, FC Corto Muso form the second block because they are separated by 1.5 points.
• The Rock Rams and Paris San Gennaro and FantaVision - Gimbo Edition make up the third block.
  The three teams are within a range of 4 points: the shortest distance from first place is 60.5 points while the longest is 64.5 points.
• Cosenza: 80 points away from first place.
• Zottoni: 138.5 points away from first place.

The players who gave the greatest contribution to the Filarb Team were:

• Simeone (Striker - Verona): 2 goals - Total score: 13 points
• Joao Pedro (Striker - Cagliari): 1 goal - Total score: 10 points
• Biraghi (Defender - Fiorentina): 1 goal - Total score: 10 points
• Vlahovic (Striker - Fiorentina): 1 goal (penalty) - Total score: 9.5 points

Prize Distribution

---

The entry fee for fantasy football is 80 HIVE.
I used the present verb because registrations are still open even though the competition has been going on for 12 rounds and because there are two payment methods:

• single payment
• two payments: 40 HIVE at the moment of registration and 40 HIVE before the end of the first leg of the Serie A football season.

All the registration fees flow into the final prize pool which is managed by the @pw10 account.
With 9 participants the final prize pool will be 720 HIVE and there will be three positions definitely awarded but the distribution of the prize pool has not yet been decided.
The organizer @poliwalt10 has not yet decided the distribution of prizes because he wants it to be a decision taken democratically by all participants.
In case it was decided for four prize positions the prize distribution would be as shown in the following image.

The first place winner would take 288 HIVE, the second 216 HIVE, the third 144 HIVE and the fourth would receive just under the entry fee 72 HIVE.

In the case of deciding on three prize positions the distribution could be as shown in the next image.

The "Olio di Balena" Fantasy Football is a competition open to everyone, Hivers and non-Hivers alike.
Those who want to join will have to pay the entry fee according to the mode they prefer (single payment or two payments) and will have to contact the organizer @poliwalt10.

Who enters now will have a starting score given by the sum of 66 points for each round already played.
The rounds already played are 12 and therefore the new player who joins today and before the thirteenth round of the fantasy football competition will start in the penultimate position with a score of 924 points (see image below).

Who enters now will have a gap of 115 points from the first place and a gap of 73.5 points from the third place (a position surely rewarded).
Recovering this gap is possible because there are still 22 rounds to play and in previous editions there have been recoveries of more than 100 points, but it is a gap that is already very large and therefore difficult to recover.
For this reason this is the last time I insert this section in my post because I think that by now there will be no further entries to the competition.

Conclusion

For the fifth consecutive day of play it is my HIVEntus to occupy the first place.
Behind them, however, is a team that is consistently performing well and 20 points is very easy to make up.
The aspect that makes beautiful and exciting a competition like fantasy soccer is that recoveries are easy to get because the league is long (24 games still to play) and unexpected events and injuries can quickly change the balance of the competition.

Just 9 rounds of play ago my HIVEntus was in 8th place in the ranking while now they are in first place.
7 rounds of play ago Filarb Team was in 6th place in the ranking while now they are in 2nd place 20 points away from 1st place.
8 game rounds ago Paris San Gennaro was in first place while now it is in sixth place.

The fantasy soccer competition has completed 14/36 of its path and therefore everything can still happen and unforeseen events such as player injuries are always around the corner and could change in a few games the balance of the fantasy soccer competition.

What will happen at the end of the next round?

The answer to the previous question we will know soon because at the time of writing the conclusion of this post there are just under three days left to the seventeenth round of the Italian soccer league Seria A.

In the following image you can see all the matches scheduled for the next round of the Serie A that will begin on Friday, December 10 at 20:45 with the derby of the city of Genoa (Genoa - Sampdoria) and will end on Monday, December 13, 2021 with the final whistle of the match between Roma and Spezia.

In the next round of the Serie A championship there will be no matches between the teams occupying the top 8 positions and therefore there will be no Big Match.
However, there will be the derby between Geona and Sampdoria, which is a very important match in the city of Genoa.

All eyes will be on the teams in the first four positions that are enclosed in just 4 points in the ranking: Milan, Inter, Napoli and Atalanta.
Napoli will face Empoli.
Milan will try to defend the first place but will have to win against Udinese that after four games without a victory will try to leave its stadium with at least one point.
Inter will face Cagliari which is in the penultimate position in the ranking.
Atalanta will play against Verona which is in tenth place in the ranking.

Winning is always nice but participating is more important and it's even more important to have fun and playing the fantasy football of Olio di Balena the fun is assured ;)

Risultati Serie A: Giornata 16 + Fantacalcio Olio di Balena: Risultati e Statistiche dopo 14 Giornate di Gioco

Ieri 6 dicembre 2021 è terminato il sedicesimo turno del campionato italiano di calcio della serie A.
La partita più importante del turno numero 16 del campionato di calcio italiano della massima serie è stata la partita tra il Napoli e l'Atalanta.

Napoli - Atalanta

---

La partita tra Napoli e Atalanta si è giocata sabato 4 dicembre alle ore 18:00.
Il Napoli primo in classifica ha affrontato la squadra quarta in classifica.
Prima della partita le due squadre erano separate da 5 punti di distacco in classifica.
L'Atalanta si è presentata allo stadio Maradona di Napoli in perfetta forma, forte delle sue quattro vittorie consecutive ottenute nei turni precedenti e con un organico quasi al completo.
Il Napoli invece è arrivato alla sfida con l'Atalanta con non pochi problemi di formazione dovuti ai molti infortuni.

L'Atalanta parte subito forte e al settimo minuto del primo tempo segna il suo primo gol.
Zapata riceve un pallone sulla corsia di sinistra, entra nell'area di rigore del Napoli e passa la palla al compagno di squadra Ruslan Malinovs'kyj che dal limite dell'area di rigore arriva in corsa e con un potente tiro segna un bel gol.
Il Napoli spreca una chiara occasione da gol intorno al dodicesimo minuto del primo tempo con Lozano che non riesce a devire in porta un cross di Mario Rui.
L'Atalanta si fa di nuovo pericolosa la minuto 23 con un tiro del centrocampista Pessina che sempre su assist di Zapata tira e la palla finisce di poco fuori porta.
Al 29 minuto ci riprova il Napoli con Lozano che entra in area di rigore e tira in porta ma il portiere dell'Atalanta para senza particolari problemi.
Al 39 minuto il Napoli pareggia grazie al gol di Zielinski che tira due volte in area di rigore dell'Atalanta: il primo tiro viene ribatutto dalla difesa dell'Atalanta e sulla ribattuta la palla arriva di nuovo a Zielinski che questa volta non sbaglia e centra la porta.
Il primo tempo finisce con il risultato di parità: 1-1.
Al minuto 47 della partita, dopo solo due minuti dall'inizio del secondo tempo, il Napoli passa in vantaggio grazie al gol di Mertens che segna scatta sulla linea del fuorigioco da centrocampo e con un tiro appena entrato in area di rigore dell'Atalanta segna un bel gol.
Al minuto 52 l'Atalanta colpisce un palo con un bellissimo colpo di testa in area di Zapata che è sfortunato in questa occasione.
L'Atalanta continua ad attaccare e al minuto 65 riesce a pareggiare il conto delle reti con un gol del difensore Demiral che in questa occasione sembra più un attacante che un difensore.
Al settantesimo minuto è ancora un tiro dal limite dell'area del Napoli a finire in porta.
Segna Freuler che su assist di Ilicic porta in vantaggio la squadra allenata da Gasperini.
Nessuna azione pericolosa fino al novantaduesimo minuto, in pieno recupero, quando Politano con una grande azione personale entra in area e crossa, sul primo tiro del Napoli ribattuto dalla difesa dell'Atalanta arriva Petagna che tira però alto sopra la traversa.
La partita finisce con il risultato di 3 a 2 per l'Atalanta.

La partita tra il Napoli e l'Atalanta è stata una bella partita ricca di emozioni e di gol.
Guardando le statistiche l'Atalanta ha tirato di più in porta rispetto al Napoli che invece ha ottenuto un maggiore possesso palla:

• Tiri Totali: Napoli 15 - Atalanta 21
• Tiri in porta: Napoli 4 - Atalanta 7
• Possesso palla: Napoli 55% - Atalanta 45%
• Passaggi: Napoli 531 - Atalanta 432

Il Napoli non perde solo la partita ma anche il primo posto in classifica che adesso è occupato dal Milan.

Su Hive c'è una competizione che è collegata al campionato di calcio della serie A: il Fantacalcio della comunità di Olio di Balena.

L'organizzatore del fantacalcio è @poliwalt10 mentre io sono un semplice partecipante e la mia squadra si chiama HIVEntus FC.
La competizione fantacalcistica è iniziata con il terzo turno del campionato italiano di Serie A ed è arrivata alla quattordicesima giornata di gioco conclusa.
Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere la classifica aggiornata dopo quattordici turni di gioco.

Descrizione Grafico:
Sull'asse delle x ci sono le giornate indicate dai rispettivi numeri.
Ogni riga del grafico corrisponde ad una determinata posizione della classifica e la prima riga partendo dall'alto indica il primo posto
Ogni squadra è identificata da una linea di un colore preciso che permette di seguire facilmente l'andamento, giornata dopo giornata, della posizione in classifica di ogni squadra.
Sulla destra ci sono i nomi delle squadre partecipanti al fantacalcio e ogni linea termina vicino al nome della squadra corrispondente.

Il posizionamento delle squadre in classifica dopo il quattordicesimo turno di gioco è quasi identico a quello del turno precedente.
La mia HIVEntus rimane al primo posto per la quinta volta consecutiva, al secondo posto c'è la squadra Filarb Team che mantiene il secondo secondo posto per la quarta volta consecutiva e al terzo e quarto posto ci sono le squadre GianLFC e FC Corto Muso.

Le iniche posizioni che cambiano occupante sono la quinta posizione e la settima posizione.
FantaVision - Gimbo Edition perde due posizioni e scivola dal quinto posto al settimo posto mentre The Rock Rams risale di due posizioni in classifica ed adesso occupa il quinto posto.

Le ultime due posizioni della classifica rimangono invariate con le squadre Cosenza e Zottoni che occupano rispettivamente l'ottava e la nona posizione in classifica.

Vediamo adesso le distanze in punti tra le squadre dopo 14 turni di gioco.

Distribuzione Premi

La quota d'iscrizione del Fantacalcio della comunità di Olio di Balena è di 80 HIVE.
Ho usato il verbo presente perchè le iscrizioni sono ancora aperte anche se la competizione è iniziata da 12 turni di gioco e perchè le modalità di pagamento sono due:

• singola rata
• due rate: 40 HIVE al momento dell'iscrizione e 40 HIVE prima della fine del girone di andata del campionato di calcio della Serie A.

Tutte le quote d'iscrizione confluiscono nel montepremi finale che è gestito dall'account @pw10.
Con 9 partecipanti il montepremi finale sarà di 720 HIVE e saranno tre le posizioni sicuramente premiate ma la distribuzione finale del montepremi non è stata ancora decisa.
L'organizzatore @poliwalt10 non ha ancora deciso la distribuzione dei premi perchè vuole che sia una decisione presa democraticamente da tutti i partecipanti.
Nel caso si decidesse per quattro posizioni premiate la distribuzione dei premi sarebbe quella indicata nell'immagine seguente.

Il primo classificato prenderebbe 288 HIVE, il secondo 216 HIVE, il terzo 144 HIVE e il quarto riceverebbe poco meno della quota di iscrizione 72 HIVE.

Il Fantacalcio della comunità "Olio di Balena" è una competizione aperta a tutti, Hivers e non.
Chi vuole iscriversi dovrà versare la quota di iscrizione secondo la modalità che preferisce (singola rata o due rate) e dovrà contattare l'organizzatore @poliwalt10.

Chi entra adesso avrà un punteggio di partenza dato dalla somma di 66 punti per ogni turno già giocato.
I turni già giocati sono 14 e quindi il nuovo giocatore che si iscrive oggi e prima del quindicesimo turno della competizione fantacalcistica partirà in penultima posizione con un punteggio di 924 punti (vedi immagine seguente).

Chi entra adesso avrà un distacco di 115 punti dal primo posto e un distacco di 73.5 punti dal terzo posto (posizione sicuramente premiata).
Recuperare questo distacco è possibile perchè ci sono ancora 22 turni da giocare e nelle precedenti edizioni ci sono stati recuperi superiori a 100 punti ma è un distacco che è già molto grande e quindi difficile da recuperare.
Per questo motivo questa è l'ultima volta che inserisco questa sezione nel mio post perchè penso che ormai non ci saranno ulteriori iscrizioni alla competizione.

Per la quinta giornata di gioco consecutiva è la mia HIVEntus ad occupare il primo posto.
Dietro c'è però una squadra che sta facendo con costanza grandi prestazioni e 20 punti sono molto facili da recuperare.
L'aspetto che rende bella e avvincente una competizione come il fantacalcio è che i recuperi sono facili da ottenere perchè il campionato è lungo (24 partite ancora da giocare) e gli imprevisti e gli infortuni possono cambiare velocemente gli equilibri della competizione.

Solo 9 turni di gioca fa la mia HIVEntus era all'ottavo posto in classifica mentre ora è al primo posto.
7 turni di gioco fa Filarb Team era al sesto posto in classifica mentre ora è al secondo posto a 20 punti dal primo posto.
8 turni di gioco fa Paris San Gennaro era al primo posto mentre oggi è al sesto posto.

La competizione fantacalcistica ha completato 14/36 del suo percorso e quindi tutto può ancora succedere e gli imprevisti come ad esempio gli infortuni dei giocatori sono sempre dietro l'angolo e potrebbero modificare in poche partite gli equilibri della competizione del fantacalcio.

Cosa succederà alla fine del prossimo turno di gioco?

La risposta alla domanda precedente la conosceremo molto presto perchè nel momento in cui scrivo la conclusione di questo post mancano poco meno di tre giorni al diciassettesimo turno del campionato di calcio italiano della Seria A.

Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere tutte le partite in programma per il prossimo turno della Serie A che inizierà venerdi 10 dicembre alle ore 20:45 con il derby della città di Genova (Genoa - Sampdoria) e terminerà lunedi 13 dicembre 2021 con il triplice fischio finale della partita tra Roma e Spezia.

Nel prossimo turno del campionato di serie A non ci saranno scontri tra le squadre che occupano le prime 8 posizioni e quindi non ci saranno Big Match.
Ci sarà però il derby tra Geona e Sampdoria chè è una partita molto sentita nella città di Genova.

Gli occhi saranno tutti puntati sulle squadre nelle prime quattro posizioni che sono racchiuse in soli 4 punti in classifica: Milan, Inter, Napoli e Atalanta.
Il Napoli affronterà l'Empoli.
Il Milan cercherà di difendere il primo posto ma dovrà vincere contro l'Udinese che dopo quattro partite senza vittoria cercherà di uscire dal suo stadio con almeno un punto.
L'Inter affronterà il Cagliari che è in penultima posizione in classifica.
L'Atalanta giocherà contro il Verona che si trova al decimo posto in classifica.
