Since I was little I have loved sports too much, especially soccer, like any other child, even, I could not go as far as I wanted in my chess career thanks to indiscipline and my addiction to soccer, literally my chess coach asked me a day, make up your mind, chess or soccer? I stupidly got carried away by soccer, it was what I was passionate about but in my country it was useless, so it was the worst decision I could have made in my childhood haha. Anyway, this is not a post to regret my bad decisions, this is to talk about a game that has made me sick for two weeks, yes, PES 2016.

ALL of us who have had consoles have ever played FIFA or PES with our friends, I for example played too much of my life PES and FIFA with my friends on PS2, in fact, we held tournaments and had an incredible time, playing against your friends is something that is worth gold, and soccer is the best sport to play with your friends and raise the competitive level to the maximum. Today I want to talk about PES 2016 because I remember a time with my cousins, one of them had a PS3 and the glorious PES 2016, I still remember that as if it were yesterday... IT WAS BEAUTIFUL.

I don't know why, but it took me too long to download any soccer game, for example, with my brother-in-law I used to play TOO MUCH PES 14 at his house, but I never intended to download it for myself (I was a fool). I finally made up my mind, but I didn't want 14, I wanted to try PES 2016 since I remembered it very fondly, then I'll move on until I reach its latest installments. The truth is I'm great at soccer, especially PES, FIFA not so much since I hardly ever played it as much as PES, and although it seems the same, IT'S NOT. PES has a different shape, different mechanics, different physics, different ways of running and controlling the ball than FIFA, I think you should try both and decide which one you like best...

I downloaded it and immediately I had to configure the controls, since when I opened it I didn't know which key to press XD, I went to settings and adjusted them, yes, it's best to play it with a controller, the keyboard limits you a lot since there are many buttons to configure and it is very difficult to remember them all, unfortunately I configured it very basic, the joystick to move, and the keys to shoot, pass and long pass, oh and run. The truth is that I didn't need anything else, with that I defended myself, since that's EXACTLY how I played PES 14 with my brother-in-law on his computer.

As soon as I could learn to move in the menu, I went to training to get used to the controls a bit, since I hadn't practiced for a few months and I didn't want to make a fool of myself XD.

After a while I got used to it quite well, I felt ready to challenge Bayern with 3 less players and in LEGEND mode. Well, I tried some exhibition matches and it wasn't so bad, yes, the difficulty was "regular", which for me could translate into "normal". Obviously it was because I was starting to play, then I increased the difficulty. It's great to be able to relive your beautiful childhood moments sitting here, I invited one of my friends to my house and we were playing for hours, unfortunately I have no control so each one played 1 game and then it was the other's turn xD.

My impressions after so many years is that it is very realistic, yes, although PES is highly criticized because it is not realistic, for me it is, and I do not want to say that it is better than FIFA, because it is not, but it is a great game. Incredible, graphically PES 2016 is still beautiful, the physics, animations, players, very important, the players are very similar (some), otherwise everything is very good. The balls are beautiful, the studs, the grass and the stadiums are incredible, yes, I didn't like the crowd at all, I think they could have made an effort to create more variety, when they focus on the stands you can see LITERALLY CARDBOARD dolls, lol?

How's it going? Doesn't it look like a real match? Why me yes haha. Another important point to clarify is the teams, yes, PES does not have many licenses, for example, from the English league, but it doesn't matter, the only thing that changes is the name of the team, but the players and everything remains the same, that is It has some details but they are really stupid. Something very funny is that I'm playing in a league, where you start with a club from 0 and you have to get promoted, make transfers, etc. I think everyone knows that, well, in my youth team I have a very peculiar guy from 16 years old, I want to introduce them to you...

Anyway, ignoring that nonsense XD, another very important point, the narration, I played with the narration in English for almost 2 weeks, 3 days ago I changed it to Spanish to try both, and the truth is that they are incredible, you feel 100% In a real game, my nephew even came to tell me which game he was watching, and when he saw me play he said "I thought you were watching a game because the voices are the same." It's great that they adapted everything perfectly.

The answer is YES. PES 2016 was and still is a great game!

Quién más no esta loco por el mundial, eh?

Desde pequeño he amado demasiado los deportes, especialmente el fútbol, cómo cualquier otro niño, incluso, no pude llegar tan lejos como fuese querido en mi carrera ajedrecistica gracias a la indisciplina y mi adicción con el fútbol, literalmente mi entrenador de ajedrez me preguntó un día, decídeté, ajedrez o fútbol? Yo estúpidamente me dejé llevar por el fútbol, era lo que me apasionaba pero en mi país no servía, así que fue la peor decisión que pude haber tomado en mi infancia haha. En fin, esto no es un post para lamentarme de mis malas decisiones, esto es para hablar sobre un juego que me tiene enfermo, desde hace dos semanas, sí, PES 2016.

TODOS los que hemos tenido consolas, alguna vez jugamos FIFA, o PES con nuestros amigos, yo por ejemplo jugué demasiado tiempo de mi vida PES y FIFA con mis amigos en PS2, de hecho, hacíamos torneos y pasábamos un rato increíble, jugar vs tus amigos es algo que vale oro, y el fútbol es el mejor deporte para jugar con tus amigos y elevar el nivel competitivo al máximo. Hoy quiero hablar de PES 2016 porqué recuerdo una época con mis primos, uno de ellos tenía PS3 y el glorioso PES 2016, aún recuerdo eso cómo si fuese sido ayer... ERA HERMOSO.

No sé porque, pero tardé demasiado tiempo en descargarme algún juego de fútbol, por ejemplo, con mi cuñado solía jugar DEMASIADO PES 14 en su casa, pero nunca tuve la intención de descargarlo para mí (fui un tonto). Por fin me decidí, pero no quería el 14, quise probar con el PES 2016 ya que lo recordaba con mucho cariño, luego iré avanzando hasta llegar a sus últimas entregas. La verdad yo soy buenísimo en fútbol, especialmente en PES, FIFA no tanto ya que casi nunca lo jugué tanto como el PES, y aunque parezca lo mismo, NO LO ES. El PES tiene una forma distinta, mecánicas distintas, físicas distintas, formas de correr y controlar el balón distintas al FIFA, yo pienso que deben probar los dos y decidir cuál es el que más les gusta...

Lo descargué y en seguida tuve que configurar los controles, ya que al abrirlo no sabía cual tecla pulsar XD, fui a settings y los acomodé, eso sí, lo mejor es jugarlo con un mando, el teclado te limita mucho ya que son muchos botones que configurar y es muy difícil recordarlos todos, yo lamentablemente lo configuré muy básico, el joystick de moverse, y las teclas de chutar, pasar y pase largo, ah y correr. La verdad no necesitaba más nada, con eso me defendía, ya que EXACTAMENTE así jugaba con mi cuñado al PES 14 en su computadora.

Apenas pude aprender a moverme en el menú, me fui a entrenamiento para poder acostumbrarme un poco a los controles, ya que llevaba algunos meses sin practicar y no quería hacer el ridículo XD.

Luego de un rato me acostumbré bastante bien, me sentía listo para retar al Bayern con 3 jugadores menos y en modo LEYENDA. Bueno, probé en algunos partidos de exhibición y no me fue tan mal, eso sí, la dificultad estaba en "regular", lo cuál para mí podría traducirlo en "normal". Obviamente fue porque estaba comenzando a jugar, luego aumenté la dificultad. Es genial poder revivir tus hermosos momentos de la infancia acá sentado, invité a uno de mis amigos a mi casa y estuvimos jugando por horas, lamentablemente no tengo control así que cada quién jugaba 1 partido y luego le tocaba al otro xD.

Mis impresiones luego de tantos años es que se muy realista, sí, aunque PES es muy criticado porque según no es realista, para mí si lo es, y no quiero decir que sea mejor que FIFA, porque no lo es, pero es un juegazo increíble, gráficamente PES 2016 sigue siendo hermoso, las físicas, animaciones, jugadores, muy importante, los jugadores son muy parecidos (algunos), de resto todo es muy bien. Las pelotas son hermosas, los tacos, el césped y estadios son increíbles, eso sí, no me gustó para nada el público, creo que pudieron esforzarse en hacer más variedad, cuándo enfocan las gradas se ven puros muñecos de CARTÓN LITERALMENTE, lol?

Que tal? No les parece un partido real? Por qué a mi sí haha. Otro punto importante a aclarar son los equipos, sí, PES no tiene muchas licencias por ejemplo, de la liga inglesa, pero no importa, lo único que se cambia es el nombre del equipo, pero los jugadores y todo sigue siendo igual, o sea, tiene algunos detalles pero son estúpidos la verdad. Algo muy gracioso es que yo estoy jugando una liga, en dónde empiezas con un club desde 0 y debes ascender, hacer fichajes, etc, creo que todo el mundo conoce eso, bueno, en mi equipo de juveniles tengo a un chico muy peculiar de 16 años, quiero presentarselos...

Una pequeña pregunta, este chico parece de 16 años?

16 años de edad? o 16 años de experiencia en fútbol?

En fin, obviando esas tonterías XD, otro punto muy importante, la narración, jugué con la narración en inglés por casi 2 semanas, hace 3 días la cambié al español para probar ambas, y la verdad es que son increíbles, te sientes 100% en un partido real, incluso, mi sobrino vino a decirme que cuál partido estaba viendo, y al verme jugar dijo "pensé que estabas viendo un partido porque las voces son iguales". Es genial que hayan adaptado todo a la perfección.

La respuesta es SÍ. PES 2016 fue y sigue siendo un juegazo!
