Ice Bath in a Tropical Country.
It is really hard to be able to take ice bath in a tropical countries, where it is more than 30 degrese all year round, especially since baths are not common at all, since majority of population use cold water showers.
Jordan (my son who plays soccer) loves to dip in ice bath to relax his muscles and get rid of pain after a hard game or practice, but he was unable to take ice bath or even just very cold bath since hd has moved to El Salvador.
He tried buying baby pools and putting ice in it, but the pools were not deep or big enough for him to dip his whole legs and hips. Plus the only ice he could get was cubed ice bags, which melt pretty fast in the not so cold water, no matter how many bags of ice he gets.
But Jordan finally found a really good solution to his problem.
He found an ice pool, on internet, which is not a wide but deep pool, which is just the right size to dip your whole body.
He was very excited to try his new ice pool, after a very hard game and his body was sore.
He set it up pretty fast and we bought 5 bags of ice cubes, since the block ice is not available here in El Salvador, at least we can't find it anywhere.
The ice cubes did melt pretty fast and so the water was pretty cold but not super cold.
So the next time, we decided to buy some zipploc bags and pour water in them and freeze them. We had 5 zipppoc bag sized ice blocks which were perfect, plus it was cheeper than buying the ice.
The ice bath was ice cold this time, which Jordan loved.
I wasn't brave enough to get in there after Jordan finished his 18 minutes of ice pool, even though it was a super hot day.
Hope you enjoyed my post and wish you a happy and winderful weekend everyone.

I feel I could just have a ice bath like Jordan right now. The heat in Nigeria these days has gotten to the extreme and there are heat rashes all over my body
This is so cool and nice I which I could have something like this here in Africa where the weather is very hot at times
Yes. That would be so refreshing for you, especially in a hit place like Africa.
We have here in El Salvador 34 degrees pretty much every day but in hotter places it's about 36 to 38 degrees.
What are the temperatures where yoy live?
