Fastest race ever

The Ronde van Vlaanderen is a cycling race that brings more than a million people to the parcours. In no other country cycling is that popular as in in Flanders! The atmosphere is incredible and that brings a chaotic but insanely attractive race with it.

There were horror crashes, but sadly that’s part of the race. The race already broke open 100 kilometres before the finish. With an elite group formed in front with Küng, Cosnefroy, Asgreen and teammates of topfavorites Tadej Pogacar and Wout Van Aert.

Behind that group, Pogacar started the shifting with an epic attack on the Oude Kwaremont. He pulled through and on the Koppenberg Van Aert and Van der poel were the only two that could follow him. Slowly but surely they closed the gap with the leaders.

On the last climb of the Oude Kwaremont Tadej Pogacar went up and over the leaders and dropped Van der poel and Van Aert. He went solo to the finish, and wond the 282 kilometres long race in an epic average of 44,1 kilometres per hour!

Van der poel came in as second, Mads Pedersen won the sprint for the third place before Wout Van Aert.

This was one of the best cycling races I have ever watched, pure advertising for the sport!
