La Liga vs EPL( Night of Champions)

This year's champions league finals is definitely going to be a bomb. Two teams at the top of their game, the match is bound to be one heck of a clash. Liverpool had their eye on the premier league cup but came in second following Manchester city's 3 - 2 win against Aston Villa yesterday. It was a sad night for Liverpool, but is all hope is not lost yet.

Their rivals at the champions league finals, Real Madrid, came top of their league weeks ago leading Barcelona with 13 points ahead. It'd would have been real poetic if Liverpool had won the premier league cup yesterday. The champions league finals would have really been the clash of the Titans, two teams at the top of their league playing for the ultimate title, the real EPL versus La Liga.

Liverpool are likely to be without midfielder Thiago Alcantara for the Champions League final against Real Madrid on Saturday after he was injured yesterday, on the final day of the Premier League season on Sunday.

Klopp said in his post match interview that the injury was "not good" and that it was the lower body that was affected, so we'll just have to wait and see if he would be cleared to play the finals.

Liverpool quickly need to reset their minds and prepare for the finals on Saturday if they want to beat the Merengues. The game would be a rematch of their 2018 clash where Mohammed Salah was injured early in the game by Sergio Ramos. Real Madrid went on to win the match 3 to 1, taking home the trophy.

The road to the finals was not rosey for Madrid, a lot of crazy comebacks happened, from their match against Paris Saint Germain, to Chelsea, even against the current champions of the English premier league, Manchester city, the finals is set to be a blast. Players are at top form.

Real Madrid in their domestic league have won 26 games, drawn 8 and lost 4, tough act to follow. Their rivals on the other hand in their domestic league have won 29 games, drawn 6 and lost 3. I know we can't use games in their domestic leagues to predict this coming match but this is going to be a hard one for football analyst.

I personally have no favorites for the finals, may the best team win, but if I were to pick, a part of me wants to see Liverpool with the trophy. What I do know is we are going to see alot of goals in the match. My team on the other hand, Manchester united needs a lot of work done, may God help us next season.
I can't wait to see the starting lineups for both teams.

Would the match just be another repeat of their previous clash in 2018 or will Liverpool step up and take the title?

If Madrid wins, it would make it their 14th champions league title and if Liverpool does, they go for their 7th.

Tune in on Saturday, 28th May 2022.

La Liga final game wasn't as engrossing and the EPL since Real Madrid won the title even before the season ended. Liverpool would need to quickly switch their attention to the final with Real Madrid. I'm hoping Real Madrid wins but I fancy Liverpool too due to Salah and Mane. We wait...

Can't afford to miss Saturday's game. I'm a big Salah fan, I hope he gets to lift the trophy but the truth is I wouldn't be surprised if Real Madrid win. This is football, anything can happen

Anything can happen. Football is crazy and unexpected. May the best one win.

What has happened in the premier league is that two teams have dominated in the last 8 years perhaps and above all City.

In the league two teams have always dominated it.

Champions of Spain v runner up in the EPL. This game would be interesting to see. I don't even know who I would be rooting for because it's unpredictable.

i can not still believe that manchester united fans still hopes for the best for a finished team, lol. That was just banter.

well, i actually wanted Liverpool to win the league and the champions league. i feel losing the league will serve as an extra motivation for them in the final.
