A huge win for Liverpool last night as they put Arsenal to the sword at the Emirates by 0-2 with Jota scoring the opener after 54minutes which will have Man. City looking closely over their shoulders as Liverpool close the gap to just 1 point!

Nine premier league wins in a row is pretty impressive stuff and Liverpool must now be looking like favourites to lift the trophy with City just having a little stutter.

We also need to give a shoutout to Spurs who also won and in doing so, put themselves just 2 points off Man. U but with a game in had. Man.u need to pick up their ideas and fast unless they want the indignity of having to take part in the Europa Poundland Vase Cup or whatever its called. I would love to see that!

Back to the Premier League tonight and a huge game for 'top' Premier League manager, Frank 'don't cry' Lampard, and Everton...

The pressure is on for the bottom clubs and with Newcastle looking home and hosed, they just need to keep up their great run of form that has seen them rise above the scramble for the lifeboats which is now going on below them.

Everton have been dreadful and although having 3 games in hand over Watford below them on the same 22 points and Leeds above them on 26, they need to fully capitalise or will be in serious risk of the drop.

They were dreadful and haunted by fear in their last game at home in which they lost to Wolves and I don't believe Lampard has a clue what to do! He'll be collecting yet another huge payout shortly when he's sacked.

Everton will be without Delph, Mina, Calvert-Lewin and Jonjoe Kenny and I really don't see getting anything from a game against Newcastle who are really flying at the moment despite a loss at the weekend against Chelsea. They really have to fancy themselves for this game!
