An international club-friendly game under normal circumstances is not the most inspiring of games I can find around me but when this game involves Liverpool and it's the first game after a very long time, you can always count on me to keep a tab on it and enjoy the game from buildup to post-match analysis. Haha.

The sea of football fans in Thailand are having a moment of their life because this friendly game will be played in Bangkok and Liverpool's squad have been there since two days ago. It's been a very interesting start to our pre-season tour and I like the excitement we are getting from it.

The fans in Thailand and Liverpool fans all over the world are very pumped about this game and it's been exciting to get consistent updates about the training sessions and every other thing that is going on over there.

This for an example

That is one of such update showing an open training session held in Bangkok. I've never doubted how big a club Liverpool is but when you see the atmosphere in the above video and the number of fans that made an appearance just to watch the training session you will be caught in bewilderment. I just can't help but acknowledge (once again) the brilliance of this current squad and the pedigree of this football club as a whole.

To put this into context, an estimated 15000 fans were present in the stadium during Liverpool's open training section in Rajamangala Stadium, Bangkok. That number beats the number of attendance that can be recorded in many professional football games. It's massive!!!

Guess who we are up against in this friendly game;

Since this is an international friendly and a pre-season tour, you would most likely be expecting us to start by playing a club that is not recognised in world football. No way! Haha. This is so different! We are up against the mighty Manchester United.

Manchester United squad have also been in Bangkok for a couple of days in preparation for this game but I can't tell you much about them because... well, because I don't care about them. Haha. I see the sticks coming from Man United fans.

To be fair, I've always seen Man United as an elite football club. Their history in world football is massive. I believe this club should only be comparable with the top-top clubs in Europe, but their recent performance over the last couple of years is making people ask important questions.

I need to redefine who they are and what they represent at the moment because they have been a shadow of their past glory. Hopefully, their new gaffer, Eric Ten Hag, will be given enough time and support to (hopefully) whip the squad into shape.

Who are we expecting in this game?

For Manchester United;

I know for a fact that Cristiano Ronaldo will not be there because he is currently having a couple of unresolved contract issues with Manchester United. The young man is looking to make a move and I believe he will most likely choose to sign with Bayern Munich.

The latest announcement from Manchester United's camp is that Harry Maguire will remain as Man United's. This means he will be wearing the armband in today's game and I can assure you that Manchester United fans are gutted by that decision. They have had enough of the young man but the young man still has a lot in store for them. Haha.

I'm sure the whole footballing world is waiting to take the piss out of Maguire if he messes up as usual in today's game. Haha. Rashford, Lindelof, De Gea and other Man United players are expected to be in contention for starting the game.

Liverpool Fc;

Sadio Mane? Will he be there? Nahhhh... Sadio has found a new home. Same as Origi and Taki. I wish them all the best in their new home.

Aside from those who are already out of Liverpool, we have a full squad for today's game. It is also said that the new lads, Darwin Nunez and Fabio Carvalho, will most likely make an appearance in today's game.

Kick-off: 2PM (UK Time). You sure don't want to miss this.

Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop Or Comma

Manchester United may not have been competitive in recent times but I look forward to a massive Red Devils' win over Liverpool.
Bangkok sure have a lovely sight today.
I have followed how Liverpool haven't been taking pre-season matches very seriously 🤣

Hahah... We don't exactly take these matches seriously, but we have some lads there that needs to prove their worth.

OMO, they have to score goals from now on to prove that can be visible in big games. Haha. I look forward to a win with many goals and clean sheet... All from LIVERPOOL 😂

New legs, new signing and all the trials, Liverpool is a gem no doubts but I can't bet my money on her pre-season matches.

My brother. Hahah. Man United were playing as if their life depended on it. The quality of Eric Bailey has never been in doubt. The lad is good. I just hope he remains injury-free so that he will have enough playing time.

I bet on Liverpool three seasons ago against one Arabian club and they were defeated. It was also a pre-season, since then, I don't take Liverpool seriously when it comes to pre-season.

haha that you did!!! I don't get to watch these days although I have the MUTV app for my eldest so that he never has to miss a game even if it is only available 24 hours later. Life is so busy anyway... the timing is not so important when he wouldn't usually be available to watch it live...

I grew up with my dad supporting Manchester United so I naturally became a fan. I was a season ticket holder for a few years during the Ronaldo/Rooney year and was coincidentally at Old Trafford the day Rooney signed. Saw him inside the stadium earlier in the day before he came out to see the media. In those days I never missed a match... I would plan my socials around matches lol... now things are a bit different.
