COT VS COE (first game)

In the first football game, the Department of Technology (COT) faced the College of Engineering (COE) in a best-of-three match. Both teams were eager to win, and the game started with a lot of energy and careful planning. As a COT player, I could feel the pressure, knowing how much a first win would boost our confidence. Our team quickly took control, passing the ball well and keeping a strong defense. The key moment came when COT scored, putting us up 1-0 and leaving COE trying to catch up. The crowd cheered as we celebrated our first win in the series. COE tried hard to even the score, but our defense stayed strong and blocked every attempt. This win showed COT’s strength and determination and sent a clear message to the other teams. Winning 1-0 against COE was a great start, and it gave us the drive to keep pushing forward in the tournament.

COT VS COE (second game)

In the second game of the series, the Department of Technology (COT) was ready to win again against the College of Engineering (COE). From the start, we played with confidence, feeling strong after our first victory. Our teamwork was good, and we passed the ball smoothly across the field. Soon, we scored our first goal, making it 1-0. The crowd cheered, and our spirits were high. COE tried hard to score, but our defense was strong and blocked their attempts. Later in the game, I saw an opening, took the shot, and scored the second goal, bringing the score to 2-0. My teammates and I celebrated as the crowd cheered even louder. COE kept trying until the final whistle, but our team stayed strong until the end. With the 2-0 win, COT was crowned champion of the series, as it was a best-of-three competition.

Unending Support

Throughout the game, my classmates were there, cheering us on with all their energy. Their support made a huge difference, giving us the motivation we needed to keep going. Every time we made a good pass or blocked a shot, they shouted in excitement, which lifted our spirits. When I scored the second goal, I could hear their cheers even above the crowd, and it made me feel proud to be part of such an amazing team. Their encouragement reminded us that we weren’t just playing for ourselves, but for our whole department. Seeing their smiles and hearing their cheers made the victory even sweeter. It was their support that helped us stay focused and push through, and for that, I’ll always be grateful.

The intramurals taught me many valuable lessons, both on and off the field. One important lesson was the power of teamwork. In football, no one player can win the game alone; it takes everyone working together to achieve success. I also learned the importance of staying focused and not giving up, even when the game gets tough. Every challenge we faced was an opportunity to grow and improve, and our team did just that. Another lesson was the power of support from others. My classmates’ cheers and encouragement reminded me that we are stronger when we have people who believe in us. Lastly, I learned that winning isn’t everything—it’s the effort, the sportsmanship, and the friendships built during the journey that truly matter.

I always find those people who are great in sports amazing. I, on the other hand, could not bring myself to be dedicated in sports as much as you are and your team haha. But still, I can attest that winning isn't everything, may it be in sports or in life in general.
