A week ago I made a post called Careful Who You Associate With about Mo Farah, who said his association with his former coach Alberto Salazar, ho's been banned for years has caused him to suffer both emotionally and financially.

Sponsors have dropped him, which must have heart him indeed, both emotionally and financially. When you become upon whom there are certain suspicions like doping, it's hard to get your reputation back. Mo hasn't been accused of anything yet, but his association with the banned coach made him look suspicious too.
Yesterday I read an article about mo giving an interview, in which he answered some questions regarding taking L-carnitine before the 2014 London Marathon. He said he didn't, more than once. Then after the interview Mo left and went back and changed his statement. He said he remembered taking injections before the London Marathon.
L-carnitine is a naturally occurring amino acid that the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has banned in dosages of more than 50ml in the space of six hours. source
His situation was not an easy one as many people are doubting he has nothing to do with the doping scandal. Just because he hasn't been caught, that doesn't mean he's clean.
Now the whole media is full of Mo's behavior, his credibility is even less than before, everyone thinks Mo is lying. Including me. I don't understand him honestly. The Salazar case is not new, he's been under investigation for some time and his ban happened last year. Mo must have known what's going to happen as Salazar has been his coach for some time and he knew the press will be all over him as that's what they do.
He should have been prepared to answer every question without blinking. He said he didn't remember he got the shots at the time of the interview, he remembered it later. Well, such an important detail you can't forget In my opinion.
Is he guilty of doping? He's not in my eyes till he's proven guilty but that doesn't mean I believe he's clean. He just made his situation even worse. Now I'm curious to see what's going to happen to him. Is the media going to finish him off?

The story is going to come out and he will lose everything. The marathon body said they had more than a third of the runners on investigation including Olympic and World Championship runners. The case has been running for over a year and they will be preventing runners from going to the Olympics. I expect the list to include Mo and I agree with you how do you forget you were cheating.
That would be great as I'm sick and tired of seeing doping cases every day and knowing you can't trust anyone anymore. This must be stopped once and for all.
