  • Discuss what you felt about a particular match after it is over .

  • Predict and share what you think about upcoming matches .

  • Talk about sports betting if you are interested , post odds which you think is good to bet on .

  • But mainly - live matches discussion ? That would be fun.

Sports Name - Match Name

Small description

Link to your post about the match ( optional )

This should be the head comment and then you can post your discussion under these comments itself . This is to prevent duplicate match comments which can be very messy .

I'll bring the game on today !
Let's talk about Football and last night Europa league results a bit.
First, there is no more French club qualified for the last 16th... very disappointing to be honest.
Now there were some surprises too ! Leicester OUT ! Napoli OUT ! Leverkusen OUT !
And it was almost roasted for Arsenal before a goal from Aubameyang at the 87th.

smiles, thanks for the mention @amr008 I will be ready when you are @hykss.sports.

I think I have been left off the footballing charade. I never knew the Europa league was just a one-legged game of football. covid really destroying things

Wait, last year both Champions League and Europa got one-legged but this year it's round-trip games all again.
Or did I miss the memo about one leg game starting from last 16th ?

Hmm I'd say Ajax or Roma could grab it but my favorite will be the winner of ManU-Milan

There a tennis game currently played between Bencic and Gauff.
It's a semi-final in Adelaide (WTA 500 serie), maybe @erikah is watching it :)
Bencic just snatched the first set with a tie break (7-6).

Bencic is a good player ,. I have watched her play alongside Federer , I don't remember where or when it was .

Its already semi-finals? Damn I am missing many tournaments . I used to watch all .

Did you watch Aus Open ?

Just to follow up, Bencic won in 3 sets 7-6/6-7/6-2.

I watched some in streaming but I’m now cheering for the youngsters and they have been disappointing. The old guard is still way too strong, especially mentally.

That's amazing , congrats to her .

And yeah same here , I wanted Thiem to win it ( A Nadal fan though ) but overall a very disappointing performance from the Next Gen except for Tsitsipas .

BTW don't miss to hop on here tomorrow because I have talked to some people who are interested in SPORTS and they too will hop on itseems .

Big fan of Federer but can’t deny the huge champions Nadal and Djokovic are. Now I’m rooting for Thiem/Medvedev/Tsitsipas but they still miss something compared to those 3.

Absolutely , I agree a 100% . There is something these 3 have ( Murray did too but injury got to him ) that others don't have .

Kyrgios has a lot of talent but ridiculous attitude that is keeping him from reaching his potential.

Yep agree. I have a lot of respect for Murray and Wawrinka who both took 3 grand slams each from those giants. And at a time they were the strongest ever.

Agreed , I love Wawrinka's backhand , one of the best in the business .

I read a couple of news regarding Rooney moving from being a player to coaching, any thoughts on this one Sports men?

I mean he was a good player, a remarkable one to say, but as we know being a coach is much tougher I'd say, an example of how difficult it could be is what Lampard experienced with Chelsea, so now i doubt Rooney can do any better at this.

It's hard to tell whether a good player ( or in case one of the best ) can be equally good coach but I totally love him and would love to see him having a wonderful career as a coach .

Glad you hopped on here , the engagement project rewards quality commentors so all the effort you put will be rewarded :)

Hehe, I'll take all the extra SPORTS I can get, I mean it would save me a few bucks to buy.

Yea I suppose you're right, I honestly ain't Rooney's biggest fan and haven't really watched him play much, but if he could carry on another name as a coach, we will see.

Most of the times , good players won't become good coaches, not only in soccer but in all other sports too .

@hykss.sports what is your take on this?

Yesterday my Flamengo team was Brazilian soccer champion.

The game was more tense than exciting, as the team lost and needed Internacional, the club that was in contention for the title, would not have to win their game.

Between goals canceled by VAR and penalty, Internacional was only in the tie and thus my club was champion.

It was hard to watch the game but it was really worth it hahaha ... It's been two seasons in a row, now 2021 with another championship won.
