Last week i bought to you the more basic well known superfruits of the world , well this week i am going to show you some more exotic superfruits of the world and why must we eat our portions of superfruits everyday you may say because...because we all know that most fruits are packed with antioxidants, fiber, vitamins and minerals, and other nutrients that can help you live longer, look better, and even prevent disease.

Let's start of the Rambutan fruit it's name is derived from the Malay word rambut, meaning 'hair' when the skin is peeled away a a firm, white, translucent flesh appears similar to a Lychee and just as tasty and why is Rambutans good for because they are rich in vitamin C , a nutrient that helps your body absorb dietary iron more easily.

The Salacca also known as the Snake fruit is not only a great fruit to include in your food for its flavor, but also for its nutrient content, which includes high levels of dietary fiber, protein, sugars, potassium, iron, calcium, phosphorous, vitamin C, and vitamin A, as well as various antioxidants and active ingredients. It originates from the regions of Java and Sumatra in Indonesia.

This what it looks like when the Jackfruit is cut up.

Sentul or seutui aka kecapi here in Indonesia, seldom find the sweet one though. We used to preserve it in sugar syrup to reduce the sour taste.. but some people just enjoy the tangy of it happily😂 they eat the inner skin with salt and chili.

I really wonder whether the siamese has any type of traditional fruit salad like "rujak" in Indonesia?

It's my pleasure Angelo! It's the healthiest thing you can do for your body.mid and soul. Hopefully someday I can try too, but I believe I have to be in Tropical climate. I couldn't do it here in Canada. I can just tell from looking at your photos how fresh and full of nutrients the fruits is compare to how it here in our supermarkets. It's not the same thing!!!
