What Can You Do To Defend Yourself From A Seated Position
We talk about different situations and how you can defend yourself in that situation. The thing is, when you fight for self defense in real life, this is not an MMA, UFC or Boxing match. You might not see things nice and clean. You can face a situation like this anywhere.
Today we are going to talk about something that is very common. We spend a lot of time sitting on a chair. If you are at the office, at the train station or bus stand or on the bus, you usually sit there. If you are attacked while sitting, that's different.
When we talk about fighting, we usually stand up and stand in a fighting stance. In case of a seated position, you cannot make a lot of moves that you can if you stand up. So the sooner you can stand up, the better.
When you are on a bus and sit like that, you do not have much space. If the bus is crowded, that will be more difficult to stand up and get out of there quickly.
If the attacker punches you, you can grab his arms, pull and make him off balance. At the same time, stand up as soon as you can. Then you can face this situation in a better way.
If you are somewhere else sitting on a chair and wait for someone, be aware of your surroundings. If you guess, someone can attack you, you can change your position while sitting so that you can stand up quickly to defend yourself and counter-attack. Turn towards the attacker, it will help you to see more clearly what's going on and you are ready to defend yourself. You can stand up and take the chair to attack the attacker. You can use the chair as a weapon to defend yourself. Last but not least, don't stay there. Leave that place as soon as possible. Thank you so much for reading this post.
