Self Defense Moves In A Street Fight
When you learn self defense, you learn not only blocks but also strikes. When we talk about self defense, it does not mean you have to parry and blocks all the time. If you just keep blocking, the attacker will keep attacking. So what are you going to do? Counter-attack or attack him before he is able to attack. Of course, that is based on the situation.
You can do different strikes for self defense. You have to know how to use it and when to use it. Let's watch this video.
We will talk about different situations and what you can do in that situation to defend yourself. So please keep reading.
From 0:55 to 2:02 minutes
Someone is about to attack you, you just hit the nearest target. You can hit the shin. You can hit like this that shows in the video, but you might get hurt on your toe. If you wear the shoe, that's better. If you are not wearing shoe, and you strike like that, and somehow you cannot do it properly, there is a high chance to get hurts on your toe. I would not recommend to strike like that. You can use the side of your foot to strike instead.
In this situation, you can do elbow strike, hammer fist, palm strike and knee charge. Just don't wait and think about strike. If you are in that situation, just make your move and get out of there. Or, you can just push him, move him away and run. If you want to sweep his leg and make him fall on the ground, you can also do that. You have the options what you want to do.
From 2:20 to 2:58 minutes
There is something you need to pay attention here. If the attacker grabs your throat and apply pressure, you will find it hard to breathe. You might see the technique works fine when you practice with your training partner. But the thing is, your training partner does not want to hurt you, so he just grab your throat tight, but does not put pressure on your throat. The attacker will not do something like your partner does. He will hurt you, AKA, apply pressure on your throat. So, tight your throat and put your chin down. Then you can still breathe.
Now you can apply any technique you want. You can do this that shows in the video. Or you can grab his thumbs and pull it outside. If you cannot grab his thumbs for some reasons, you can grab his other finger, apply pressure and pull it outside.
From 3:55 to 5:10 minutes
If you want to condition your hands, you can practice different things like that. But when you are in a street fight and all you want is to defend yourself, you do not want to stand there and do blocks like that. You will get hurt. Instead, you can move forward and defend.
When someone attacks you with the stick, you have to get out of the attacking rage so that the attacker will not be able to hit you or you have to move forward and defend the attack. When you are in a fight on the street, this is not a movie. So you do not like to show that how strong your hands are. If you move forward and parry, you can defend the stick attack without hurting yourself.
Thank you so much for reading this post and watching this video. I'm sharing my opinions and alternatives techniques that you can use in that situation. I respect all martial artists. They work hard to make those videos and share their knowledge. I like them very much.

@rezoanulvibes Hello dear friend, these videos really are very demonstrative and practical. In addition to all explanation by time of the material. Undoubtedly a good defender is an early attack, the attacker looks baffled.
Thank you very much for all this material
I wish you a beautiful Sunday
If you can respond quickly and attack, the attacker finds it difficult to hurt you. Thank you so much for your comment!
