Police Defensive Tactics and Handcuffing - Self Defense
Do you work with a law enforcement agency?
If you are a police officer or work with a law enforcement agency, you have to deal with criminals on a daily basis and arrest them. When you go to arrest them, they are not going to give you a nice hug and say arrest me. You have to do it no matter what the criminal is trying to do. So you can use different techniques to do this job.
Let's watch this video.
When you want to arrest someone, you usually do not want to engage in a fight. All you want is to arrest him and put a handcuff. It is about controlling the criminal and make them do what you want.
Honestly speaking, if you are not a police officer, you still need to learn how to control your opponent and lock his hands as self defense. The thing is, you do not want to get into a fight when you see it is not going to make things any better if you go for a strike. Instead, you can make the attacker off-balance, lock his hands and control the situation.
We talk about self defense and what you should do in a situation when you are being attacked. You have to think about what will happen after the fight even you can hit the attacker and knock him out. It would be better if you are aware of the laws and regulations where you live.
If possible, you can call the police, let them handle situations. Or, try to avoid a situation where you have to fight. When we fight, that's for self defense and that's the only way to get out of there.
